Guys, when you have a "disagreement" with your girl, is she willing to discuss it or does she just walk away?

Handling conflict is not everyone's forte. Some can discuss and settle, others just vamoose. What does your girl do? This can also apply to girls.

If I see that our positive dialogues are short-lived and repeatedly interrupted by really harsh, petty accusations designed to generate some dramatic telenovela-style argument I try to de-escalate, but if I see it keeps happening... then yeah, it *IS* time to walk tf away from that guy. ⛔️ ⛔️ ⛔️

Some guys are just "built" that way and argue bc that's what they understand... it's how past relationships ran for them... so they don't *get* the girl who just wants peaceful, logical discussion. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't leave though. We eventually talk it out after I give him sufficient time of the silent treatment 😃

My husband grew up with a strict policy of not talking out the problems in his family. That carried over into our marriage and it makes me crazy at times. It's very difficult when one half is unwilling or unable to communicate.

Depends on whether or not she feels like she has the upper hand. I’ve never met a woman who loses arguments graciously. I don’t know a single straight man who has.

I always like to talk about it. I hate ignoring the big ass elephant in the room.

But if he needs some time, I give it to him. And then eventually we talk, and solve the issue... or better said... work on the issue.

She can be dismissive and want to seek space but I don’t let her do it. I often ask her to calmly and rationally explain why she disagrees as she has a tendency to go into high pitch babble mode. She then re-engages and we discuss how to move forward. Its not about right and wrong it’s about finding a way forward


Personally I have a tendency to over talk her which doesn’t help but nobodies perfect. The important thing is that we don’t disagree often and we ALWAYS find a way forward even if it’s not straight away.

My wife and I discuss things calmly and listen to each other like rational human beings.
She doesn't walk away. I would find that insulting.

I assume there are as many guys as girls who walk away from disagreements. It's a very unhealthy tactic. Refusing to talk to your partner or refusing sex is a recipe for breakup.

I only had one girlfriend who did that. Our relationship ended badly.

Depends on how you two come off, if the partner is screaming & yelling I’m sure the partner (whether male or female) would walk away until they blow off steam to be more approachable later.

It also depends on if both parties are open minded to talk it out / discuss / compromise.

usualy she: each she gave her speach and when it was my turn she interrupted and said "i dont wanna argue."or gave a speech and said "you did not even defend yourself" and walked away before i could... that is when i block them so they can't calll me to complain why i ghosted them.

Not walk away, but essentially ending the argument before it even happens by stating 'she isn't going to argue'...😂 Okay... nevermind then...🙄

My wife and I always discuss. And I only ever walk away when I'm afraid I might say something I will regret. I never raise my voice at my wife, if i get to feeling like I need to do that I walk away so I don't. I refuse to be known as the guy who yells, or hurls insults or anything else.

My wife knows when I walk away, to give me 10 to 30 minutes to calm my self. Before we pick it back up.

my wife has strong opinions and is very loud when agitated, plus I think sometimes she likes to argue, she only discusses when she's cooled down. Sometimes I walk away to give her time to cool down.
