Why do I want to call my girlfriend mommy?

If you have a strained relationship with your mom and find comfort in calling your girlfriend "mommy" because she's nurturing and provides the love and affection you lacked, would it be harmful to do so? I understand it might seem odd, but I'm more concerned about whether it could negatively impact personal growth or the relationship. I find it uncomfortable in a sexual context, so this would only be used casually or in a light-hearted way. It started as a joke, but now I'm worried I might start to like it. If that happens, would it be strange to call her "mommy" randomly, never in a sexual way, just spontaneously?
