Yesterday, I was spending the night at my boyfriend’s place and noticed a message pop up from a girl while he was on his phone next to me. He opened the chat but didn’t scroll up, so I couldn’t see much, except that he had saved a picture in the conversation. The next day, while he was napping, I got curious and decided to check it out—and I’m glad I did.
Later, I called a friend to ask if what I found counted as cheating, and apparently, he was awake and overheard me. We talked about it afterward, and he admitted that he saved the pictures because he thought the girl was attractive and used them for personal relief. He said it didn’t change how he felt about me, but I was devastated. I started crying, and he had already cried, saying he didn’t want to lose me over this.
He doesn’t see it as cheating, because he thought it was the same as watching porn, but to me, it definitely feels like it. Here are the pictures for context.
Number one even if he told you the whole truth he should only be attracted to you but unfortunately he’s listing after other girls now and given the chance he would probably do it, even if he wouldn’t it’s still emotional cheating.
I think (not a psychic so I don’t know for sure) there is more going on someone’s not just sending him those photos and he’s keeping them for no reason. Chances are that he’s cheating on you.
Unfortunately some people use people he may want the appearances of having a relationship with you, all the benefits of a committed relationship, and then still want to go out getting his rocks off. It’s not normal and if you have been nothing but loyal you don’t deserve this.
I think that maybe it’s not worth being in this relationship and you should break it off. At the end of the day whatever happened you may never know the real story because at best he emotionally cheated on you.
Even watching porn is emotional cheating and again most people would act on it if given the chance. Someone watching porn in a relationship obviously wants the benefits of a committed relationship without being committed themselves using someone who genuinely loves them who wants to give them the world. Just to shit all over them behind their backs. Nothing makes me angrier. Well…. A few things But that’s besides the point.

Certainly if she would have said yes he'd be raw dogging her like it was a bone burying competition. Then go back to you and do the same. So, it isn't cheating, but it's your judgement call to make, generally if you do it once, you'll do it again, and even if he doesn't successfully cheat, if you move in together, I could see him losing money chasing ass online.

It's cheating. There's no way that jacking off to the provocative pictures someone sent personally to you is the same as watching porn. I wouldn't count it as cheating since apparently guys just "do their thing" solo with no thought or emotional connection (although I personally can't relate to this at all).
A worsening issue in modern dating is that American girls have become fat and unattractive, so men in relationships are increasingly turning to things like this to satisfy their desires. I hope that's not what you're suffering from here...

If it's any consolation there is like a 20% chance those are a. i. generated images.
But ultimately what counts as cheating is something each couple needs to come to an agreement to, preferable before they engage in anything. There are couples who consider any interaction at all cheating and there are couples who routinely participate in orgies and don't consider it cheating. It's part odmthe dating process to sort all this out somehow.

The story isn't cheating. But the reality probably is.
You never said who sent the pic to him. Because that's the meat an potatoes of this. It's not cheating to jerk it to random pics on the internet. Virtually every guy does that. But guys in good healthy relationships do not ask for pics from random women.
Do you see how one is personal and has the expectation of something in return and the other does not.
