Hi, im 33, and software engineer. My wife is 24 and graduated from 2 years degree, paramedic. She is good girl, good at cooking.. I made a schedule for her to go for nursing (2 years more degree) or get appointed to goverment as paramedic if she gets high score on an exam. So she has to study.

I tutor her in maths and geometry.

She doesn't speak English etc. She has no big dreams like me.

Do you think its not a big issue?

Her own person for sure. But you see it gets better if both people have a job and work. Everything is expensive. When you go outside, or when you want to travel, when you want your future kids to have better life, isn't about making more money also?
Thats why i want her to make some effort to prepare exams

You can work remote as a software engineer or start your own business you don't need to spend a bunch of money on equipment like an Mechanical engineer does. You can start LLC and move to a cheaper country. You won't get the $300k you're getting now, you will have to take a pay cut, but it will affordable as an expat if money is the issue.

It's going to get even more expensive with the tariffs soon. I am already on my way out of the USA.

Bro i dont get that much of money. I almost make 23k a year where minimum wage is almost 6k
Where do you plan to move?
I sometimes think of moving another country, but i like my parents, brother.. so id miss them
