I am going to strive for better work life balance as I work too much as it is. I'm a healthy in shape middle aged dude who has realized life is too short to just save everything for a retirement that I can't guarantee I'll be healthy enough to enjoy.

It's sad we work our whole lives in America and most of us can't stop to enjoy it because of our unhealthy work culture. Even when you're doing well financially you feel like you can't stop and take off or you'll get fired, lose a promotion, look lazy etc. I will stop caring about these things this year.

I'm so fortunate that I was aggressive with saving early on. If I don't contribute one more dollar to my retirement I'll still have more than enough to live on the interest. I literally woke up one day last year and said, what I'm I waiting for? I want to live not just work.

I might be ready to settle down too. I'd like all this and I need to find a genuinely happy go lucky SO that wants to be adventurous with me. That would be fun. I want to smile a lot for the rest of my life.

We had a splendid year '24 end.

And, the fun continues into '25 with our arrival here in Tokyo, Japan where we are unravelling the 1st part of so many travel plans this year.

I'm also downsizing some of my businesses to make way for new ones.

Sadly (for others), we're "downsizing" our list of friends who we began ghosting in '23.

Spice things up! In 2025, I'm dreaming of turning up the charm even more in my coaching. Maybe a few virtual relationship retreats? Who knows! On a personal note, more giggles and cuddles with my family are a must. Perhaps a vacation where I don't need to take my glasses off to dive? 😉 Exploring new places keeps things exciting!

We've been together going on 5 years. We've traveled and done plenty. I finished school and am on track with my career goals. I'm not 100% on board, but I will admit that it's been a growing desire over the last few months. And the more I think about it, the more I feel like I could be ready. But, I need to figure out a way to talk to him about it and see where his head is at. We've gone through this relationship with the mutual understanding that we were perfectly ok with not having any children. And, while I seem to better relish the idea of being a mother now, I wouldn't want to force him in to such a change unless he feels the same.

I am going down to NYC to visit my friend in April. I am bringing my Canadian friend to show him around the city. It will be fun since he never been there but I have lived there. And I am going to South Korea in may to visit my family and then I will be working all summer until Christmas.

Well even though we are back in business from the hurricane damage we still have a lot of work to get done with the outside areas of the restaurant plus we feel this is the opportune time for some inside remodeling after the snowbirds have gone home.
