Just went grocery shopping last night with my boyfriend. Why is this such a big deal to conservatives? They really do need a boogeyman to keep viewers attached to their programs, don't they?

  Pretty much. They only feel comfortable in hardware stores or some other bs masculine belief like that.

It’s actually weird if your boyfriend or husband don’t.
If you’re not living with your boyfriend then I get it but if you are living with him and he doesn’t go shopping with you, that’s weird.
A friend of mine and her boyfriend don’t even live together but go shopping together to get their own things.
All the men in my family have always gone shopping with their wives.
To me it’s weird to think of men not going

I already do almost all of our grocery shopping... so I guess I'd consider it more that my wife was "going grocery shopping with me" instead of the other way around. Honestly, unless the list is very well sorted and easy to split... I prefer to just shop on my own though.
