For about four years, I've had a good platonic relationship with my female roommate, with whom I share a two-bedroom apartment. Lately, a problem has arisen when my new girlfriend sleeps over. My girlfriend has an issue with the fact that my roomie often walks around the apartment in just her bra and panties, or sometimes just a long T-shirt, which can reveal a bit of bare butt. (My girlfriend refers to that as "porky pigging.) My girlfriend claims that the roommate is being disrespectful and "provocative."
It's so silly, because although my roommate is pretty, we've always just been friends. Just to keep the peace, though, I am thinking of asking her to cover up when she comes out of the room. On the other hand, I am afraid she might be offended. What should I do?

It wasn't a problem before, it shouldn't be a problem now. If your girlfriend is concerned you can talk to her about it. Explain that this is just how it's always been and that it would be rude of you to ask your housemate to suddenly change her personal habits because of your romantic relationship.
There may be other ways you can assure her you are not tempted by your roommate, so try to work something out between yourselves. Roommate isn't part of your relationship and she shouldn't be made to feel responsible for solving problems you may have.
No, consider it a privilege that she feels comfortable enough with you to do just that.
Leave the roommate alone. Leave your girlfriend.
