In your own words what does it mean to you to be truly happy?

Happiness is one of the many fleeting emotions we experience. I doubt there are any humans that are consistently happy throughout their lives. And what gives us happiness is different for all of us.

The things that make me truly happy are being able to spend quality time with loved ones, experiencing new things in life, being connected with nature, and creation (building, writing, making meaningful things to leave behind in the world). The more of these I have in my life, the more fulfilled I am and the more happiness I get to experience.
