Why do most people suck?

I really reject the notion that "most people are good"

Eh, I think if they are it's because they think it is what society expects of them. Almost no one who asks you how you are cares about the answer or wants to hear if you're not doing well. The VAST majority of people who know you would get over you being dead very quickly. I'm just being real here...

Well not everyone is black and white many people fall into a gray area. You really have to weigh the pros and cons knowing that not everyone is perfect but there are also some things that can’t be looked past.

There is a lot of narcissists and bad individuals but I would say most people are overall good people at least in my experience.
