1 yBasically one of those stuff is the tutors my dad hired.
My dad hired math, physics and chemistry tutors for me to teach me after school but it deeply hurts my ego and I feel like a spoiled rich daddy's girl knowing that there are kids of fritter sellers who do so much better than me without being able to afford tutors.
And I hate being labelled as a nepo kid that's why I want to study and do all of that by myself but I actually messed up my exams in 11th grade and barely passed (but that was because all the kids in my classroom were distractive and barely allowed teachers to teach) so my dad doesn't want to take a risk in final year of high school because he now thinks that all my school teachers are incapable.
And I hate that so much because I really adore all my school teachers and it's not their fault that I have stupid classmates and strong cause of adhd.
My math tutor is okay and he gives me deeper insight into the subject, focusing more about 'why it exists' and 'how is it useful'. My physics tutor is lazy asf, he barely taught me anything yet, I'm basically self studying and raking in good grades with help of my school teacher but obv he gets all the credits. And my chem tutor hasn't even joined yet.
I once cried infront of my parents saying how much I hate it but you know what they concluded?
'You didn't drink water before going for your tution and you didn't get a good nap after school so you are stressed now'
So now whenever they ask how my tutors are teaching, I just say they teach okay because they don't really want to know my answer, they just want to hear that they are so great parents that they hired tutors for me.
I keep that to myself hoping that a point comes when they realise it's so wrong and remove all the tutors except math. If they don't remove it, then when I score the best grades on my exams, they'll give all the credits to the tutors and God and none to me and my school obviously.

Asker1 yHave you thought of taking medications for ADHD? It seems that might be the lead to all your education issues, maybe if you fix that, you fix all the problems 🤔

First of all, my parents are old school parents.
If I say them that I have adhd and they ask what is it and I say it's sort of mental disorder then they would become really repulsive and say that I'm fine and all and I'm overreacting because they'll immediately assume mental disorder is something as insane as literal madness and mental disorder means asylum and stuff to them. Not their fault, that's what they learnt at their time.
Second, my parents think it's my school's fault not mine, they think I'm pretty much the perfect student and school teachers failed me. Which few of them did but they compare that to every teacher's situation.
And third, it's not that intense. Like if I put anything engaging like my device or a novel away then I can study if I consciously put focus on the subject. Sometimes unknowingly my attention is diverted especially for chemistry which I don't enjoy. But I'm doing okay. I can manage it. Because after all I genuinely enjoy math and physics and economics, so it's easy to focus on them.
Asker1 ySo it is your teachers fault? 😂
- 1 y
Few of them, like my 11th grade math teacher hated me and maybe because I was his daughter's ex best friend and she hated me because I revealed that she was lying to her boyfriend who was also my best friend then.
Damn why do I sound so cooked now 😭
Asker1 ySo I'm just going to ignore the fact that you are a snitch only cause the reasons were all valid lol
And hopefully the teacher isn't being bias tho or getting into jit drama 😂- 1 y
Okay I'm in 12th grade now but my parents know about my past teachers who were biased and stuff and because of that they assume that my present teachers are the same way, when they are not. That's the thing.
Ofc a teen girl ought to be a snitch lol.
Asker1 yHow are you aging so fast wtf, if you teachers act like children then maybe they deserve to get judged and shamed, mostly with a student, teachers are suppose to be the more mature ones and they act like children, you should take that teachers job 😂

Eh I hate kids.
Asker1 yLol.

In general I keep a lot of things to myself, I’m very observant, but I won’t say everything I see. People can write libraries of everything you want to hear, yet their actions will never fail to show you their true nature, so in general I’ve become really good at redirecting my emotions, but I do save a lot of those details in my memory. If I say something really depends, I can’t always give away my memory juices…that’s like giving away gold. It’s for my self-preservation, not for anyone else, if I tell people I saw specific “true colors”, do you think people actually show me those “true colors” again? Probably not, they’d probably be strategic and act on their best interests. And of coarse there are some small details that aren’t worth stressing over or remembering.

Asker1 ySounds like you've got a lot going around in your brain juices, your brain juices are rushing through your brain like coolant, you have a brain coolant system made of brain juice, but very interesting observations Vurrito 🤔
Asker1 yBut that's gotta be cause of the brain juice quantity, you have a lot 😂
Asker1 yI guess even your brain juice is limited on space 🤣😁

m 1 yPreaching a converted. Nothing more to say.
Oh, I do share selectively though, with people able to understand. Because I'm not big on the benefits of random sharing, in my specific case. Since I appreciate much more sharing to a... Skilled listener/thinker, in order to get more than just venting in the air, which is nice, but also regularly insufficient?

Asker1 yDepends, some people only require a way of release and that release can be punching a rock for example, release is the importance, not really how it's released
- 1 y
If the thing to release is a simple emotion like anger than yes, simple release is going to be enough. But if the things kept for ourselves are an intemingled spaghetti salad of fear, anger, shame and all, and even worse, if there is not enough awareness then... Releasing will help on a surface level only

1 yYou do realize the oxymoron built into your question, yes?
Things that you keep to yourself don’t just go away. You have to give them away or throw them away.
I refuse to unduly burden others. So i hold onto everything unless asked.
Nobody ever asks. So i hold onto everything.

Asker1 ySo if you have to give them away or throw them away, why do you hold onto everything, isn't that oxymoron or whatnot as well 💀
- 1 y
It’s not an oxymoron. I will try to explain in a different way why i hold onto everything. It’s unethical to unload your baggage onto someone without their consent. As a man, nobody wants to hear it anyway. If nobody is asking and open to listening, i’m not going to burden them with my crap. Nobody is asking. Nobody is listening. Therefore i hold onto most of my sh*t. I can shed some of it through the Serenity prayer and meditation. But there’s still a lot bubbling under the surface that’s just gonna be there until i kick the bucket.

My aim here is to sprinkle a bit of relationship magic! We all have those sneaky little secrets or feelings we keep tucked away, hoping they vanish with a poof! 🎩✨ But they can weigh on your heart and mood. Confession time can be healing, like finding your jam on the radio after a rough day. Letting them out can feel like slipping into a warm hug. Who knew? It's a flirty shuffle towards relief and happiness! ❤️

... And who likes a positive Paula? As implied by Chico, someone artificially positive can look uncanny real quick. At least, for those looking closely at Paula and Nancy...

i meant like i get to control who knows about it and how it might affect me/them

Asker1 yThat's what's up tho
They said females are for emotions, perhaps different times today. But would I talk about my problems if I had any? I'm a true male I don't get emotional, and the resulting impact? This don't effect me at all.
Asker1 yFor a man it's harder to express than to hold onto them, what makes you a "true male" is subjective, reacting on pure emotions is a feminine trait, having emotions is a human trait
- 1 y
Any man can express his feelings, but do we want to hear a grown man pouring his heart out and getting emotional. This seems to be more and more acceptable in society, but I think it's a bad thing, some things are better kept to oneself. As far as hoping something goes away, if there's a problem one hopefully deals with it as soon as possible.
