Do you ever wish you could go back to being a child?

I definitely would, because as I child I had no knowledge about how this world is consumed by sex. This world is disgusted and distasteful.
is this really the world god intended? I mean half of y'all are going to hell anyway but geez.

if I could go back, I’d reverse time to before I was born and maybe that way a different child other than me would’ve been born. This time we live in, isn’t for the people who are normal, the ones that aren’t consumed by sex and constantly thinking of sex. It’s not for the men who actually want a marriage of love or for the woman who want a marriage of love. It’s people dating just for sex, marrying for sex. And if you don’t want constant sex then your talked about like your some kind of low life and you don’t deserve anything at all.
maybe in another life, the world won’t be the way it is right now

What's wrong with sex? As far as I understand it, nothing defines living and surviving better than reproduction. Sex is your main reason for living.

If you think otherwise, you're the one who is not normal. Every organism from a singular cell and upwards, the main objective is replication/reproduction.

Not even for a second. My childhood sucked. I had an overbearing father and two older brothers, both if them overbearing. I was bullied at school, but not by my brothers. I was neurodivergent before it became fashionable.

Sometimes, yes.

Not because adulthood is bad, but because being a child meant carrying less weight on my chest.

No overthinking, no deadlines, no pressure to be anything.

Just curiosity, small joys, and the feeling that the world was soft.

But I don’t romanticize it too much.

Growing up also gave me things I never had back then clarity, self respect, and the ability to choose my own life.

So I miss it at times, but I don’t want to go back.
I’d rather take the good parts of childhood and let them live in me now.

I just think you have lost your prospective, with regard to sex and how much people are consumed by it (men most often) You certainly don't have to be party to any/much/all of the discussion. I become bored with all of the mindless sexual questions here most often by men, and it is unsettling sometimes, that sex is the only thing on their mind.

You can separate yourself from it here, and socially by simply just disregarding it and going about your life. I am not 'asexual' and have always had an interest in sex, sometime so much so it detracted from my having a better social life.

You are in that 18-24 age group and are probably around that group of men that have the constant erection and not knowing how to deal with it without alienating those around them.

I would only want to 'go back' if I could do that being 'armed' with the knowledge and experience I have as an adult. Don't be discouraged, things will get better for you.

Yes because the 1980’s were the best time of my life. Well minus school life. The 80’s had the best tv shows, movies, toys that wouldn’t easily break apart - (like today’s crap). Cartoon were awesome, nobody got offended 🙄, and most and best of all…. i had my dad. I’d give anything to have him back again 💔😢😢. He was taken from us by esophageal cancer …. the day after my birthday 5/22. He was taken 5/23/2005.

You're exposed to social media, that's problem #1. Sex sells advertising. The is too much of everything being over-sexualized. As far as romance, without sexual attraction you might as well just be friends. I'm not saying people have to always act like horny dogs, though
