Have you ever had someone start talking badly about you behind your back just because they couldn’t have you the way they wanted?

I had a coworker who was interested in me for months.. but I told him I didn’t feel the same way, though I was open to being friends. After that, he stopped talking to me completely…later, a close friend told me he’d been speaking negatively about me behind my back.. calling me “mean” and “conceited”… It’s honestly kind of sad how someone’s attitude can flip like that when they don’t get the outcome they hoped for.. but in the end, I don’t really care about people like that…its only confirm my intuition about them..

It wasn’t necessarily bad but just inappropriate. When I worked in retail I also had a coworker that was interested in me. I politely rejected him. After that he would joke that I am a Nazi because of my German heritage, sometimes he would make friends with customers and tell them his very inappropriate opinions about me. One of those customers came up to me and told me if I have a boyfriend I should break up with them and date my coworker. He was lazy, didn’t want to do his job and tried to make me do his job for him and he would still get paid. When I got a new job lined up and I put in my resignation letter he whined and cried about me leaving.

I had a girl who I dated very briefly, talk smack behind my back to peers I knew from high school a long time ago. She called me cheap and vain (I do admit I came across a little vain on the date because I was trying to impress... this was around when I was 20 years old and had little social experience), and she said I had a small dick, even though I was never been physically intimate with her. I never even kissed her lol.

You could say that. When I was younger I had a young woman flirt with me. I didn't reciprocate her advances, so she later accused me sexual assaulting her. Luckily my reputation spoke for me, and her reputation spoke for her as well.
