Oh I dont know if there is anything I haven't said aloud to them, but maybe that I could say more often perhaps.

For my wife, and this is gonna sound weird, but I do tend to for the most part like how controlling she is. It takes a lot of the guess work out of it. I know what she likes and doesn't like, when she wants some things done and when she wants it done that way, and how to make her happy without the drama. It's why we have lasted so long.

On the other hand I am just like a simple golden retriever in a lot of ways. Im loyal, love getting petted, and listen to what im told (unless im willfully being bratty of course then all bets are off).

My boyfriend and I are still in the honeymoon phase after 3.5 years together. We still are learning new things, so i would say his willingness to be patient with me and my hangups about my self image is what I love most that I dont bring up a lot. He just accepts that it will probably inconvenience him in some way and just keeps smiling and being patient. He's a saint.
