This is really relative. Maybe it only feels long to you because it's your first real relationship. I've been in my relationship for a little over two years, and while at times it feels like it's been a long time, in retrospect I realize that how little time has really passed.

I think that associating the terms long and short to relationships is really kind of dangerous. When someone says "I've been with this person for suuuch a long time" I get the feeling that they're getting bored or looking for change (but I totally understand that this isn't always the case). As long as positive feelings are a part of your describing your relationship, I think it's a positive thing :)

Yeah I think what you say is true about that I've been with someone for so long, I would get that feeling too, but yeah we still have positive feelings should be good! :)

35 years is a long time in a relationships. 6 months is really nothing but it depends on the person and it depends on what situation you are thinking about.

It's getting there yes. Don't focus on time and focus on enjoying it instead. :)

I think its all based on the amount of time you actually spent together more or less the number of days. Say you see each other more or less everyday for the past 6 months then of course its a long time, clearly you were able to from a special bond with that someone. As opposed to the fact of say 1 a week it shouldn't be considered long.

6 months is okay. A long time for me is 2 - 3 yearsm then its time to get married if you guys are still together. lol

Haha wow I'm still only 20 way too young to get married imo, so if in 3 years with her I'll be 22 still too young :D but yeah you're right I would want to know my partner at least 2/3 years before getting married
