Polls: Relationships

There are a lot of different views on this.

(Tomorrow is year 1 of when we first met and I thought that would be year 1 officially but he says its the day he asked me to be his girlfriend and chose that day for Facebook too, but my argument is that we were exclusive before he officially asked me and called eachother pet names before that which was April 19th.)

What are your views?

I think that would be one of the sweetest gestures from my Significant Other.

We both work... he don't get off work till 11 and I'm in bed by midnight he stays up all night plating the game so I go to sleep alone pretty much every night... he goes to bed aroun5 in the morning I get up around 7 or 8 and he sleeps all day most of the time we share house work since we both work but I don't know if I can be ok with this life...

More or less the “you have a great personality” cliche.

So my man moved out of town for work and he’s renting a room from a woman around our age. I had no issue with that at all. He’s been there about two weeks and will be moving into his own place on the first. About 3 to 4 nights ago she knocked on his door while we were on the phone and asked what type of rice he wanted her to make for dinner. I told him that seemed a little odd, but didn’t make a big fuss about it, he assured me there was nothing to worry about. Yesterday she got into a car accident and called him to pick her up. Today he called after work and told me he was out shopping. I asked if he was alone he said “no my roommate called me because she was out getting her lashes done and wanted a ride home. I told her I was headed to do some shopping and she wanted to go. So I picked her up and now we’re out running some errands.” Am I wrong for starting to feel uncomfortable? Or like he’s being too friendly?

boyfriend only offers to pay or get gifts on special occasions…. the rest of the time it’s 50/50……should he offer more? Or is he not obligated since we’re not yet married?

we are in a committed relationship and have met each others families…

also anytime he buys me a coffee he then says I can’t expect it every time…. is this rude or is it an honest comment?

my partner wants me to help him to become a better person is by keeping him in check if i noticed he is not present in the moment, not listening etc.

The atmosphere of social media seems very show off and braggy most profiles, You tube channels are comprised of people posting about a job promotion, good grades, travelling, photos of their babies or their partners, PDA or of themselves, their looks, clothing, physic, wealth, possessions, academic accomplishments etc... and there are even posts where they write personal intimate praises publicly while it's meant for a select few of the people in their lives for likes...

No wonder so many social media users are depressed or end up leaving social media, you may just end up comparing your failures to the bragging, show off posts of others if you're on there. I kind of miss when social media wasn't a thing and we were all curious about one each others lives because most of us just lived private lives, nowadays most people put everything out there on social media you almost feel as though you know everything about that person even when you have never even met them in person.
