Pork is forbidden in ALL 3 Abrahmic religions. Just so that you know.
Strange. The pigs and my grandmothers farm only ate left overs of human food and pig food, they never ate any dirt, they roll in dirt to stay cool though, otherwise they die. I agree that pork isn't too good, but wild hog meat surely is, it tastes really good.
As far as I know, nobody has ever died from eating pork. Not eating something just because it's unhealthy seems illogical as almost everything we eat is unhealthy to some extent
It's illogical that we eat all this unhealthy stuff and be okay with it.
Okay but if God said it we do it without question since he's God, and since he gave us a huge number of blessings. And if we do what God says, we will go to Heaven. This is the Muslim rationale.
You realize we literally pour animal shit over vegetable crops to help them grow, right?
In muslim countries they use artificial fertilizers are used but I don't know about Christian countries...

I don't think the current ban on eating pork is well supported by health concerns in the modern era. But eating pork is hardly necessary for survival either, so a lack of pork-eating is hardly a challenging problem globally being inflamed by islam.
Well bible bans pork also.
@Turkish_Delight The old testament does. The new testament - and the early Christian church one of its first major debates was around whether converts needed to follow jewish law or not, essentially, was Christianity a subset of Judaism or it's own religion? I think the pork eating was initially less of a big question then whether convert males needed to cut off part of their penis.
Personally I'm agnostic. I do take my children to a Christian church. And for what it's worth, here's one of the signs our church has at its front door right now:

How does it work that the Bible has a new testament? I don't understand how can people trust it. Who exactly changed it?

I thought jews didn't eat pork. That's why they have Kosher stuff. Am I wrong?
kosher is a process.. not a "diet"

Eating any kind of meat has a lot of health risk and hygiene problem. The above reasons can be very much true with goat meat, beef etc. too which Muslims eat a lot
