Well yes, God is God haha, but we refer to God as "Allah" which just means God in Arabic. :)
Yes we do believe in Jesus, only we call him "Isa" and he was one of our prophets. We don't believe he died on the cross and we don't believe he was the son of God though, but none the less, I still respect that belief. :)

Islam is an Abrahamic religion that came about in the sixth century originally. Judaism and Christianity preceded, with Babism and the Baha'i Faith coming after. Ramadan is, as indicated with previous comments to the original post, a period of fasting. Can't really speak to any possible denominational differences -- Don't know if Islam is denominational -- between Muslim groups. Catholicism requires that people abstain from fish consumption on Fridays while it's not a requirement in most Mainline Protestant Denominations. The Orthodox Church -- Mostly Eastern Europe and parts of Asia -- follows a strict Halal diet the same way that is required in Judaism and Islam. My maternal grandmother was Jewish, so by Jewish Law, I'm considered Jewish (though I grew up in a Christian household, with emphasis on Catholic tradition, having been raised in a country with a heavy historical Catholic influence).

What a good idea. UK churches livestreamed the Easter Service. Families could do Skype chat prayers. I would admire that commitment. Would Allah not know those who are pious if they did not travel or gather? Would mosques doing a virtual thing that is open to anyone not spread the word of Allah? But I don't know, I am just open to learn.
