From a biblical standpoint, Onan "spilled" his semen on the ground instead of making a woman pregnant, which is one of the reasons why church makes you believe that masturbation is sin. Interestingly, the bible doesn't actually mention the act of masturbation (afaik).

From a medical standpoint, it's almost a necessity. Not only do you get to know your body, you also release mental pressure if you can't habe sex, but have the desire for it. Holding it back creates frustration which - as we know - is usually not a good thing.

And when you grow older, you might also be interested to know that regular ejaculations (be it masturbation or sex) helps preventing certain diseases just like regular peeing prevents kidney stones.

Just don't use porn that you find dehumanizing. There's plenty of porn where the performer is the sole producer, you can trust this to be free of abuse more than any "sex job."

Most of the big time porn producers readily abuse and use the performers if they think they can get away with it.

From what i have been taught it is only because most people so it because they are watching porn and all that other stuff that causes one to lusting after something they can't have. now if you are with your partner and you masterbate thinking about them than no. No. Don't over do it. The real thing is best but you don't want to go crazy having sex with a bunch of girls. Masturbating helps you figure out why you like and keeps you from going crazy from hormones. Stay away from porn until after you have real sex a while.

I don't believe so. The story of Onan, in the Bible, is often quoted as proof it is. The problem is, Onan just had premature ejaculation, and God was mad he didn't do his duty. It's not a story about masturbation.
