Spiritual/Supernatural Encounters?

I have come across a few other people in my life who said that they had experiences with otherworldly beings. I was inspired to ask this question because of a girl who described an encounter she had that actually kind of scared me.
Have any of you had experiences with spiritual beings (spirits, angels, evil spirits, or etc)?
Also, if so, what do you think opens the door of this into your life and consciousness?

Yes, I used to have sleep paralysis regularly to the point where I would set alarms to wake me up in the middle of the night so if I was having one, the alarms noise would get me out of it.
I believe people and I know it's hard to others to believe some things because there are definitely some crazies out there... during this time where I had sleep paralysis, i was pretty depressed and just in a bad place. I fell asleep, and upon waking I couldn't move, I was fully awake and aware though. This was not sleep paralysis but it was like it. I felt something, tried to fight the feeling off and I went between seeing my room to darkness. I heard a voice say something to me but I can't remember what it said. Whatever it was scared the hell out of me. I mentally prayed to god (I read something about people doing it and it working) I heard a shriek, it was gone and I was able to move.

I went downstairs to my mom and stepdad crying telling them what happened. I knew they'd probably laugh and not believe me though. Me and my mother went to my grandparents house (this was all at night) shortly after. My mother asked my great grandfather where my great gram was and he said she was sleep. I sat on a stool and they started talking. I saw a black shadow from the corner of my eye behind me for a second and couldnt see it anymore. Not even 2 minutes later my great gram comes into the kitchen with her walker saying she felt something push her out of her sleep. Which was more than likely what I saw.

Whatever it was followed us and I prayed for god to protect them from whatever I brought there with us. It latched onto me at a very vulnerable state in my life because I was weak and I never want to go back to the point ever again. I honestly think I was almost possessed. It sounds ridiculous...

someone grabbed my shoulder when i was in bed at 2AM. It was so realistic i could sleep until 5AM.

It's crazy that things like that can happen. I had a weird experience like that before, but I wonder what triggers them so I can avoid it in the future..

I've 'sensed' some dead relatives before. But alas, my super-sensible perception is not yet so great :)

You can kind of open up these doors if you have an interest. However, it places a lot of demands on peoples' psyches and probably for their wellbeing it's best that they don't have those kind of experiences. Plus, we're supposed to be spiritual creatures having a human experience. The delusion suits our purposes for the moment. Humans need to have faith in the 'objectively' of their subjective experience for this whole thing to work.

Scepticism is generally best anyway for sanity's sake.

I think you're right about us being spiritual creatures having a human experience.
I don't want to seek out these experiences, lol, I ask about what the doors are so I can avoid them.

I don't want to be overconfident, because in truth, I will always say I know nothing. But, after a bit of experience, you can learn to mostly not let it bother you. Remember that the human being is always having all kinds of odd experiences. Many of them can certainly be delusions or hallucinations. If I experience something, I mostly try and hold on to my sense of self and don't become particularly interested in 'happenings out there'.

I had contact with my angel before but its always indirect trough signs and at most telepathy but the latter can easily be my own subcontiious talking to me as every time i ask if its her it stops xD.

Another interesting story is that i have heard of two people with autism who are clearvoyant although in there cases they can't do it on command and only did it once. One is an old school friend of mine and the other is the son of my manager. His son had never met his own granddad or even seen a picture or heard a story. Suddenly he told him there was an old man in a raining code who wanted to do an activity his granddad always did. The manager was shocked as when he asked for details his son knew what he looked like and the actions fit his personality.

I guess it makes sense if that kind of stuff was going on the the same house. It's just that sometimes I wonder why some people have experiences like that and others don't.

Because there will be some connection between us. So they prefer us. Like, twins if on person hurts there will be minimal effect on 2nd one

Once I had a dream like the souls are united and planned to get me to their place and there's is a leader for them he's nothing but my grand parent. He wanna see me so he planned like that. After I suddenly woke up with full of sweat
