What's your religion? Do you believe ALLAH?

IF I was to believe in god, it would probably never be the islamic version of god... and that's for a few reasons
For one, Allah is a generic name for god. The religions before Islam never referred to god as Allah, that word didn't even exist back then...
Allah is a pagan god, a Nabataean god. Allah did not exist prior to the 4th century
Allah --> Deshara --> lord of Shara the pagan god know as Illiaha, thats where Allah is derived from, Allah also had a wife named Allat
All prophets had to use the same name for god, Muhammad doesn't;...
to further compound these facts, before Muhammad has his apparent revelation muslims use to idolize statues of god around Makkah... Muhammad didn't like this, he actually hated this. And coincidently the Quran then pops up... ok lol
The other problem I have with Allah is that Allah never revealed himself --> I dont follow christianity either, but if I would at least god came down as Jesus. Yes something that is very hard for muslims to accept and understand but the reality is Allah is just nothing more than fairy dust...
so you tell me, why the heck would anyone believe such a thing? ..
also before islam was even created or brought down... christianity warned us of fake prophets
so think about it... everything I said above about what Allah actually means, plus the fact that we had warnings of fake prophets... then the fact that Muhammad never really did any miracles, then the fact that Allah never reveals himself
makes you wonder
Allah is derived from the word ilah which is the generic word for god in Arabic and Arabic Christians did actually refer to god as Allah before Islam even existed. Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) greatest miracle of many other miracles was the revelation of the Quran.
@qwertyuiopp nope. They never used Allah. Its Yahweh or egoami
The quran is not a mircale. Its the claim itself
Arabic Christians did refer to god as Allah as it is in their language.
ok even if that wasn't a miracle, he performed other miracles
@qwertyuiopp
Nope. Cause like i said. Arabic didn't exist. Allah didn't exist at all
Are you making this up? Dawah? Lol cause no one ever claimed we used Allah for god’s name. Not even islamic scholars. Not sure where you get this from
Muhammad didn't perform any miracles. In fact he refused when he was asked by non believers.
Then 150-200 years later they adding some miracles in
You do realize 200 years after muhammad is a very very very long time. That original message is lost! The quran is far from what was reality when muhammad was alive
because l can't believe that the dead people became nothing
if i was in quiet place and closed my eyes. i am floating now in dark space.
i would asking where i am who I am? .. etc
my brain telling me you could not believe in anything thing. the life just in your head. l would say but i am existing.. so the first thing l would believes is my existence
i am areal soul in this darkness. my soul would looking for here god
the same like a baby looking for his mother..!
if the baby know his mother. how can i refusing my god existence?
I love all humans i love all god creates.
God bless everyone.
Lets just say that i dont believe in god. But i also believe myself to be my own god. So the situation really is that i dont believe in myself. r/sad cringe

Christianity and I only believe it is a name used for God by Muslims but Mohammed was a false god. Only 1 true God: Jesus.
I am dumbfounded at all these people who call themselves an atheist but live otherwise. Nobody is truly an atheist in the true sense but only in the fleshly sense. Since they are ruled by the flesh, that is what they think they are. Unless the Holy Ghost reveals to them that, they will stubbornly think they are an atheist. All people have an innate knowledge of God's existence.
Anyone who believes in 'allah' or follows Islam is brainwashed.
I truly feel sorry for Muslims, they are probably the most delusional people around today. Like for example they think eating pork will send you to hell. Meanwhile Mohammed having sex with his 9 year old neice was a good deed and will send you to heaven.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH, imbeciles.
I'm agnostic.
Not sure whether or not any god is out there or any religion is true, but I don't rule out the possibility of any being true, because I am a paranoid person.
I'd rather there be no god or true religion, so we can just die in peace.
And not have to worry about being tortured or whatever, because we didn't believe in XYZ.
I doubt, therefore I don’t believe. I’m agnostic, and what I think is that we’ll never have any means or answer to fully apprehend the nature of the mystical or occult forces that influence our lives, if such forces do exist.
I’d like to believe in a lot of things, but I just can’t on an intrinsic level.
I am not dumb enough to believe in magic.
Science can easily prove it isn't possible.
I also am an adult and therefore know enough about physics to know the supernatural isn't real.
... and I especially will not take the insane ramblings of an illiterate pedophile merchant warlord, seriously. Nor should anyone with a thread of common sense.
You can't disprove the supernatural. Not having prove of the supernatural isn't disproof of the supernatural.
It's a wuss's concept to assert that God and magic would be identical. It shows how ill-informed you are about the things of the spirit.
You are just a God denier and likely a reprobate. Only the Holy Ghost can convict you of your fleshly wickedness to be an unbeliever.
@Hurdleez-Swampede Did I say I could disprove the supernatural? NO, I said I knew enough about physics to know it isn't real.
Although your circular excuse does work wonders on "god" since there is zero proof of one, outside one bronzed-aged storybook.
First of all, I didn't actually assert they were identical. It would simply require magic to do the things suggested happened in the bible. Shaming tactics don't make this less true.
We know for a fact that animals like snakes and donkeys cannot speak.
We know that it is impossible to magically separate the sea in two
We know dead people cannot come back to life after 3 days
ETC
Calling me schoolyard names doesn't give your argument validity, it simply shows you are incapable of valid arguments.
I deny god for the same reason I deny santa or thor.
Most non-religious people are more moral than those who have an excuse to be evil because of their religious texts bigotry.
I am not fearful of your "holy ghost" because when the blood stops flowing in the brain, the neurons stop firing and we simply cease to exist.
Believing in a creature above all time and space (breaking the laws of physics) that listens to the thoughts of the creatures on a spec of dirt among an infinite sea of other specs of dirt, and grants their wishes to change it's plan, proving it's not omnipotent, and who cares about petty shit like what animals we eat and who we have intercourse with... is well... pretty silly to believe as an adult.
For anyone reading... This is a private message I got, Likely to prevent further embarrassment to themselves.
You still aren't an expert in the field of death and what follows it. Anything you think that follows death is a guess and your opinion. Even if you are right, you're right by accident. We can't know what follows death.
I believe in the leader of Bethos.
Having sex can make you live forever
You see men are filled with things called Marlocks in their bodies
And when a woman has sex with men the Marlocks implode feeding the woman's receptive cavity with energy that
causes immortality so sayeth the ruler of Baythes
I dont believe in any divine entity no matter what label its given... god, allah, yaweh (spelling), satan, lucifer etc... all forms of the same shite to control and cause endless suffering. Lose religion, gain real happiness and true tollerance.
I am not religious as I serve Lord Jesus.
As for the second part, if you mean the Sovereign God, then yes, however I do not believe in Mohammed's teachings anymore than I believe in Darwin's.
"I am not religious as I serve Lord Jesus."
... What's the difference?
In regards to your question, where do you think religion comes from?
People? People create religions. I assume that's the sort of answer you'd expect.
"People create religions"
And there is your answer.😊
But people also create gods, so there's no meaningful distinction. The religion and the god are created in tandem.
And do you not ever wonder why people from so many different cultures and time periods 'always' feel the need to make their own "gods"? Or even where the concept of a "god" originated?
It appears to be a natural conclusion people come to. But that isn't an argument in it's favour. I could say the same thing about flat earth, it's intuitive.
Why do so many cultures feel the need to make their own gods, but they all make different gods and seldom agree on the specifics surrounding what those gods say and want?
And where do you think the concept originated?
Do you think it is something all those different people came up with even though they were from different cultures and backgrounds?
Or would it make more sense that they were trying to satisfy, say a certain need?
"And where do you think the concept originated?"
I don't think it has one origin, I imagine different cultures came up with their concepts individually.
"Do you think it is something all those different people came up with even though they were from different cultures and backgrounds?"
Yes.
"Or would it make more sense that they were trying to satisfy, say a certain need?"
I agree with that - a need to explain the unknown, sure.
But I'm not seeing what your point is supposed to be or where you're going with this.
"I don't think it has one origin, I imagine different cultures came up with their concepts individually."
You believe all of them came up with the same idea with no connection between them?
Yes.
Then I believe that is where we disagree.
And I'm no closer to understanding your distinction between religion and your acceptance of a religious claim.
It is not religious to obey authority in my opinion.😊
I agree. It's religious to accept a supernatural claim about a deity.
So it is only acceptable to acknowledge authority to a certain point?
How did you extrapolate that from what I said?
You do not seem to think we should obey God's authority.
Also, no offense, but this conversation is not really all that stimulating...
"You do not seem to think we should obey God's authority."
I said a deity believe was a religious claim, and you responded with something about only following authority to a certain point... There's no connection here, at all.
I have to be honest, I don't think you understand what words mean or even have a good understanding of what you actually believe, and are just clutching at straws.
"this conversation is not really all that stimulating... "
I'm glad we agree. You led me through a game of 20 questions to build to nothing.
Pro tip - just make your point, don't spend an hour building up to it, to then just be like 'Huh, guess we disagree'
And if I had been direct, what would you had done?
I already know how these kinds of things play out, and honestly, I find it annoying, athiests often times will start these kinds of conversations, not because they honestly want to know what I think, but only as a way of trying to make them feel better about themselves and what they claim.
But I was honestly interested. Your pre-emptive defence to something I'm not guilty of was just to waste my time by evading questions. Cool, thanks. I'll keep that in mind for the future.
I am Christian (Methodist), and I believe in God, but Allah is a false god, and a tool of Satan.
Presbyterian (Christian) and yes I believe in God. Allah is just another word for God.
A religion that teaches to kill anyone who does not convert is not a good god but the Devil or Anti-REAL-GOD
ok buddy, you definitely haven't done your research
i'm an atheistic satanist, so to your question i answer FUCK NO i don't believe in Allah, God, Jesus, Jahwé, Jehovah or any other form of deity ;)
Welcome to hell lolz
already here no worries ^^
Don't cry in the hell
why would i? i'd feel right at home
You have no endless life
@secretgardenblood not true, he has an endless life of torture to look forward to. Better than heaven in my opinion, and being surrounded by evil people who are being rewarded. I imagine a scenario where I meet the man who murdered me in heaven (he turns christian after going to prison and is saved from being punished by God), and I doubt I could be okay with it, but I would be unable to do anything about it since you can sin in heaven, according to the bible. I haven't read that much of the Qur'an, but I assume its basically the same idea, I could easily run into a criminal, someone who did me wrong, and yet I can't do anything about it but watch as he goes unpunished.
@devilman666 just waiting
@secretgardenblood heaven is the same thing. Eventually you will just be waiting for eternity to end.
@devilman666 dude you're actually trying to bring logic and thinking into a debate about religion, why waste your energy?
@frenchyromain because I think everything needs logic, and I hope that people will see through my logic that the logic of the bible is flawed to an extreme degree.
@devilman666 They won't because they are religious people xD logic doesn't have any effect on them
@frenchyromain it works on some people, and if I can have some small effect then I don't mind wasting a little time
@devilman666 i completely gave up on these people (and by these people i mean religious people) :) so i support you because i've been there but i know it's a losing battle
I don't follow any religion and I also don't believe in Islam.
Anti theist, so I’m against religion in general and what it represents.
I live in a country which most of the people are muslim. However I do not believe in religions.
Atheist. I dont beleive it exists
At-least you're improving. I now respect atheists who admit it is a religious view. Proud of you. Most can't do that.
All atheism is: is a belief that God is not a construct of how be came into the universe and other things. I don't feel like linking the rest but proud you now admit.
None. I do not believe in Allah or any god.
Nope, I'm an athiest, so no religion.
