Does anyone ever think that a Jacob's ladder and a tractor beam might have been the same thing?

No. In the Bible, Jacob only sees the ladder in a dream anyway. Jacob probably never existed anyway so his dream (and his ladder) probably didn't either.

Interesting take on it. But again, it's just a story which probably didn't happen anyway. Let me ask you something though: assuming it did really happen, do you think it's more likely he just steamed it or that he was abducted by aliens?

By the way my answer is I like the aliens scenario more but I think just dreaming is far more likely if the story was based on any truth.

I've seen Aliens two times before. One time multiple Aliens were experimenting on me. Another time one Alien spoke to me telepathically and said, "Aliens are destroying your people."

Lots of people report being experimented on by space aliens.

I suppose you're going to reject these facts just because they are only "eye witness" accounts and not forensics, but eye witness testimony is often enough to convict in a court of law.

Wrong. Moving objects with light and sound has been done in the laboratory. It's just a matter of scaling it up. Light has momentum, and so by manipulating various types of fields you can move an object with pure light. That's how a Solar Sail or Electronic Solar Sail also works. You could also use a powerful enough Magnetic field to levitate a human, or you could quantum teleport a human, although teleportation would probably kill them.

We have not discovered the Graviton yet, Gravitons most likely impart some sort of negative momentum, and would therefore pull.
