I dont know why people in the west make sexuality into some taboo thing. Whats exactly wrong with a dick? Or a vagina? Theyre just body parts. Before colonists in india, way back, the culture here was much more accepting. there's naked gods and deities carved on to temples celebrating the beauty of life. All you can see is a dick and that's it. Oooo Penises are the no no parts ooooo you're supposed to cover them up and not talk about it ever cause theyre so gross ooOooOOoo.

Whats worse is in india, in mordern times, sexuality has became a taboo again. While people in the West now talk about sexual liberation. Thats just great. I dont want people on the streets walking with their balls out obviously, but this stuff could be a lot more normalised. It's so stigmatised over here that most kids dont even get proper sex ed. Theyre learning shit through porn, and you already know what that is going to lead to.

If anything, these shivlings symbolize a time when human sexuality was celebrated, not stigmatised. Something that the mordern hindus should recognise and move forward with. But for most its just tradition. I bet you most dont even know what a shivling is supposed to symbolise.

In America, we have freedom of religion. But those who seek to shove it down others' throats are zealots. I have no interest in religious authoritarianism.

I don't believe in religion, I'm an athiest. Not trying to shove anything down your throat though, I just find it curious to believe in a God you seemingly know nothing about. It's like saying you believe King Arthur existed, but also all of his stories were wrong, his name was wrong, and also he wasn't even an actual person but more of a concept, a representation of human nature and unwavering determination.

I also have no interest in religious authoritarianism, however if we are speaking logically, then the things you are saying don't make any sense to me. How is this any different to making up an imaginary friend and calling him God? What do you believe about God? Why? What did your father tell you about God? Where did he learn it?

I just told you: God is the concept of nature. Scientific theories can explain everything from the big bang and onward. For everything else beforehand, we have to attribute this to something. We call Him God. It's not about having an imaginary friend because God is not a physical being; He is a concept. I'm not an atheist because I believe not believing in a creator makes no sense. Something had to happen for us to exist. We just don't know what and how (before the big bang, that is.)

Sounds like an imaginary friend to me, you have no reason to believe other than the fact that the belief makes you feel good. Why do you think something had to have happened? See, I believe that believing in a creator makes no sense, because then you're just pushing the question back, what made God? What made whatever made the universe? What made the thing that made whatever made the universe? We can keep going back and back and back, there needs to be a God, and then a super God who created God, and then a Super Mega God who created that and so on and so forth. As far as I can tell, existence itself makes no sense, we either came from nothing or we came from something that came from nothing, either way we came from nothing.
