It's been 2000 years now. What's taking him so long? Every generation thought it was living in the "last days", and they were all wrong. From a purely statistical perspective, what is the probability that this time, this generation will witness the event? Infinitesimally low is the answer to that question I would give.
bible has just about fulfilled , Israel has become a country again. Other generations had no computers.
He will return whenever the time is right, there is no specific date we humans know of, we do however know there's going to be trails and hardship, then hopefully the rapture. I don't want to know what will happen to Earth during Satan's reign.
After the Rapture is when everything will hit the fan and God will pour out his judgments upon the Earth. You are right, you don't want to be there.
@Daniela1982 You are not a little curious on what will it will be like. I sort of would like to see what happens.
You wouldn't have the chance to. Christians will be told to worship the Beast or be put to death. And remember what Jesus said, "If you deny you know me before men I will deny you before my father in Heaven.
@Daniela1982 Is that face a cabbage patch kid?
Jesus will return after evil runs its course.
The bible is clear that Jesus allows satan to tempt and trick the world into disobedience.
After most of the frauds out themselves as evil, he sends pestilences, disasters, famines, wars, etc. To purge the evil off the earth.
we are doing this now
Nobady know, not even the angels or even Jesus.
The one and only one who know is God Father who have its own plan for all of us.

Although the world may seem to be falling apart... I believe that he will come in the next thousand years.. but, that's basing it off the fact that He rose from the dead three days after being killed. So, in 3000 years he shall return...
My opinion, but I'm usually wrong
The Bible doesn't say. It says that the angels don't know, nor the Son, but only the Father knows.
Which proves that "the Son" wasn't God, and that Trinitarianism is a false doctrine.
@Rachelspiks Actually Jesus the Son took on a lessor role and to live among men, whom he could relate to, rather than as God who has no physical form who probably would have scared everyone to death. So Jesus had to be a sinless man in order to be a sacrifice for out sins. He appears as Jesus in Heaven and sits at the right hand of God. But as He has taken a subservient role so that he can intercede for us he is leaving the big decisions to God the Father. The Father is all about wrath and justice while Jesus is about forgiveness.
"Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone" - Mark 10:18
In this passage at least he clearly denies being God.
@Rachelspiks Jesus is God, he is the lamb mentioned in bible the one with no faults.
Umm... did you see the clear evidence above? Within that passage he denies being God. It's as clear as day.
@Rachelspiks Jesus was God and God was Jesus . He was the son in man form.
I can only conclude you don't actually follow the teachings of Christ, OR you believe the account as set out in Mark is false. Either way, it's not looking good for you.
@Rachelspiks I can conclude that you are very dense and dense won't be an excuse when you stand before God and you deny Christ which means a one way pass go and straight to Hell.
What an absolutely childish, pathetic response. Well, I don't care. Continue to live in denial if that's what you prefer.
There is no "hell", it's purely symbolic. The idea originated with the pagan Greeks, and their concept of Hades.
@Rachelspiks God is the creator , and Jesus is the Son also God. God can departmentalize assignments of himself. It is Me (God) , Myself (Jesus) and I (Holy Spirit) Each or God with different properties. God and sees the future , yet apparently chooses not to dwell on it. It would probably sort of be lonely at the top other than Jesus, Holy Spirit , and Angels. Again these things will be explained more fully in the future.
And your evidence for this is? What?
@Rachelspiks I can only tell you like it is , if you choose to refuse to accept it then that is on you.
I refuse to accept it because it CLEARLY isn't true. Your claims have zero evidence for them, nothing at all. I presented evidence against your view, and you just chose to completely ignore it, so give me one good reason why I should even continue this pointless conversation.
@Rachelspiks What don't you understand about Jesus giving up his powers to become a man so he could be tempted like all of us but without sin? So he was speaking as a man. Did you also not know of this verse? Matthew 26:53 "Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?" That is 54,000 angels. No one but the Son of God could do that.
He also died on the cross very quickly and they didn't have to break his legs and that was predicted.
Daniela - What don't you understand about it making absolutely no difference if he had given up his powers to become a man? Are you saying that during the time he was on Earth, he wasn't God anymore? How does a God renounce omnipotence? How does he get it back afterwards?
"No one but the Son of God could do that." - Okay, so he was the SON of God. That is, he wasn't God.
@Rachelspiks I can tell you are just an atheist troll as the thread was titled "For Christians" and you obviously are not one so you are obviously trolling Christians. So believe what you want. It makes no difference to me. We're through here.
@Rachelspiks Mark 10:18 has been used by some Christians and commentators to show just the opposite, namely, that Jesus was alluding to himself as God, i. e., his deity. In other words, the rich young ruler calls him “Good teacher.” When Jesus says that only God is good, he is thus trying to hint at his own deity (since the man called him “good”) which the young man failed to see.
The point of Jesus’ reply, however, is not to draw attention to His deity, but to help the rich young ruler understand that in absoluteness, only God is good and that he can have much more with the Lord than legal obedience. He can have a relationship, “treasures in heaven” as it were (vv. 21).
No one knows the day or hour
So u can't put a time limit on it.
uhhhh---->“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24:36
At the end of the tribulation period as the Bible teaches.
The Bible says no one knows except God himself.
No one knows the day or hour.
I think between 2040 and 2060.
Nobody really knows.
soon
I meant we should act as if "soon".
When he's ready.
"you won't know"
