I hate all religions equally. There is somethings that make more sense to me than other's though like the core Hinduism, and then JWs not following Pagan hoilday's like Christmas making them less of hypocrites cause at least they figured that one out took a while for them to realise that the holiday's are propaganda and were a way to convert and control people, I am wondering when they will realise that the bible was also.
Even in Hinduism the richest family locked up the actual scriptures so they could control people.
The bibles beliefs didn't take over half the world with peace I can tell you that.
Religion at it's core is to conform people into a way that benefits the power above. That's why I shall always hate it.
Also there contradiction with blood is amazing, according to the actual bible no blood can be taken from anything. Meaning animals even insects do so they would 1st have to be super umber vegan. Which let's remind everyone Jesus wasn't not his disciples.
So that rule just cannot be correct but somehow in modern age they just changed what it meant to apply to only modern transfusions... which the bible of course don't even mention.
Then the jews of course think you have to drain and eat animals in a way so there is the least blood possible. But even then they would still get a bit... Which again the bible say's any.
Or let's just forget about that rule because realistically no one ever in the bible did that rule correctly, to the point Jews, Muslims, JW, Christians all have different massive views on it and even them argue with themselves on it.
It's funny to me people actually try to follow it like it's a instruction book then ignore contradictions to fit there own world. Then there is people who follow it more as a guide which makes 0 sense to that cause then just cherry picking of what story is just metaphor or not and what should be followed serious or not.
Shrugs anyway not my life. But ya asked for my views and there they are. I think a lot of people just hate for the stereotypical knock at door thing, than more my reasons well a lot of people find the blood transfusion thing crazy too tbf.
After hearing this guy’s experience within it i will never like them
@Cherry234 yeah its just crazy. i saw another guy with a video with similar stories about it too. they are very cultish
@Still-alive The fact that they're homophobic is a huge turn off and makes me dislike them even more. Their religion is too restrictive. I couldn't be part of a religion where I can't watch certain movies, not be able to celebrate my birthday, Halloween, and Christmas.
I don’t. I knew a Jehova’s Witness guy in Sixth Form college. He was so lovely and polite, and he taught me about what he believed and his faith and I taught him about mine, and we had some very interesting conversations. As a Muslim I actually did had some things in common with him, for example we both don’t believe in the Trinity, we both don’t drink alcohol, we both believe in One God, and we both studied law and hoped to go to university😅
But even if I hadn’t met him, I still wouldn’t hate Jehova’s witnesses. And my reasoning is simply because I don’t believe you should hate anybody based on their religion. You’re always going to get extremists, but they’re no reason to hate on every single person who follows that faith. As a Muslim especially I know what it’s like to be hated on because of your religion so I would never do that to anybody else.
So I grew up in a 2 religion household. Mama was a Christian and Daddy was a JW. My dad never ever stepped foot in a church. But we all went to the hall many times. My dad was also a dictator that didn't show affection. My aunts were super judgmental and looked down on my sisters and I. The biggest problem of all is the way they won't hesitate to excommunicate their own if they aren't living up to the JW standards. My cousin ended up having a baby out of wedlock and they shunned him. His brother got caught watching porn. They shunned him. I currently have not spoken to or seen my Dad in like 3 or 4 years because he refuses to associate with anyone not in the JW congregation. So yeah, a little insight on why people don't really mess with JWs
Thanks for MHO

Personally I have never met any Jehovah's Witnesses, and nothing against them, but here I have got some research, maybe that's why people don't like them.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not observe holidays they believe to have pagan origins, such as Christmas, Easter, and birthdays. They do not salute the national flag or sing the national anthem, and they refuse military service. They also refuse blood transfusions, even those that could be life saving.
Jehovah's Witnesses adhere to the Bible's view of marriage and divorce. Monogamy between one man and one woman and sex only within marriage are requirements in the Witness religion. But Witnesses do permit divorce in certain cases, believing that the only valid ground for divorce and remarriage is adultery.
Jehovah's Witnesses have been criticized because they reject blood transfusions, even in life-threatening medical situations, and they have also been accused of failing to report cases of sexual abuse to the authorities. They discourage open discussion, they don't read from the bible but magazine print out daily, weekly.
Because they are constantly going from house to house evangelizing and, my God, you talk to them once and they keep coming back!
Worse, they make you feel like shit and that they are holier-than-thou. You see, one way Satan works is by creating false religions, so, if you aren't already a Jehovah's Witness - the only true religion - then you are obviously the victim of Satan's efforts if not outright Satanic.
And, finally, only 144,000 people of all the people born since Christ was born until the end times will get into Heaven. Well, in the past 2000 years, about 40,000,000,000 people have been born and there are more with each passing day. So, if the end of the world was today, you have a 3.6 * 10^-6 chance of getting into Heaven. Coincidentally, that's "Six Sigma", the frequency of failures that is acceptable if a system has Six Sigma reliability. Put another way, that's about 7 people for every 2 million who ever lived. You have a better chance of winning a small lottery.
>>> In other words, you ain't getting in to Heaven.
Besides, South Park already gave us the answer to the correct religion.
I don't believe people hate them as much as they find them annoying. When you have people coming to your house, ringing your doorbell and then want to talk to you about their religion and possible conversion, it makes people not only nervous or irritated but put on the spot.
I personally don't hate them, but I don't like their persistence when I have told them before I am not interested and that I already am a baptized Catholic. It gets out of hand when they leave pamphlets or brochures in your door because you talked to them one time.

you knock on the door.. you approach us preaching.. you hand us literature when we say we aren't interested. they are like people who will sell ice to an Eskimo.
I see no reason to "hate" any religious tradition which does not deny other persons their human rights.
However...
Mormons and JW are problematic. Neither accept Jesus as G0d incarnate. (John 10:30). JW has rewritten scripture in a manner that distorts traditional Christian doctrine. Mormons believe two fairy tales about Nauvoo in New York and that South American Natives were part of Jesus ministry.
There is no reason to hate either but when either dies and are dressed up in their caskets, they will be all dressed up with nowhere to go.
I dated a Jehovah's Witness woman for a year and it was extremely aggravating. She seemed to enjoy telling me that Jesus didn't actually die on a cross, that my celebration of Christmas proved that I am a pagan, and she generally attacked everything that made my religious beliefs different from hers. She was absolutely arrogant in her disapproval of my beliefs.
Why did I date her? Most of the time, she was a very kind hearted and tender woman. But she was also an alcoholic and that tainted almost everything that we did together.
And in the end, she made false accusations against me, got a restraining order against me, and stole everything in my house before I could get the restraining order lifted.
I've known other JW's who were good people and who did not have all of these bad behaviors bt I can't separate all of those bad times from her religion.
After learning a little bit more about them, I don't want to associate with them or have anything to do with them. Watching the video that @Still-alive posted was especially helpful. Now I know how to identify one. If any one of those nuts knocks on my door and preaches biblical scripture, I'm slamming the door lol. I'd tell my parents to do the same thing. I don't want to be part of that cult.
Because I was enjoying my weekend when you came on my property and USED my politeness to keep me standing at my door listening to your made up nonsense and when I tried politely to disengage you continued to wast my time and USE my kindness and courteousnes to keep me standing there.
This kind of ABUSE of social norms leads to a less polite and friendly culture. Con men of all kinds use this technique. It's what sociopaths do. Pray on the decency of others to get what you want.
They're just annoying. Knocking on the door trying to get you to join a sick cult which opposes higher education, covers up for sex offenders within its ranks and practices disassociation and shunning which tears apart families is not cool.
It's a lamentable apocalyptic cult doing nothing other than mentally scaring children and leading vulnerable adults astray by weaponizing inculcation and guilt.
Personally it’s the preaching that’s a bit much. Also telling people to give up on their “petty primitive tribal urges” makes it sound like you’re trying to seem better than them. And the entire door to door thing, Jehovah Witnesses are the annoying door to door salesman of religion.
Basically chill.
It’s a cult that isolates it’s members and punishes any expression of doubt with shunning. They discourage education because members who attend college have their eyes opened to the outside world and tend not to return to the cult.
Not hate , but they believe in heaven on earth later , but Hell on earth now. They also believe that non believers (not JW's) will all go away and That they will take their stuff. Cars , homes, etc. They also believe Satan and Christ are brothers. Weird stuff , none of which is in the bible. .
yeppers
Maybe that is the Mormons
I don't hate them per-se, I just don't like anybody coming on my property and soliciting me with things I do not want, even if it's religious stuff. I wish them well as a human to another human, but please don't preach on my doorstep. Thanks.
Nah... its not that people hate them. Its that we find them annoying. I hate people knocking on my door or approaching me in public with religious flyers. Jehovah's are the worst about that.
Probably because no one likes having religion shoved down their throats, they don't want to join a cult, their main profit was a pedophile and thought that polygamy was totally fine.
Because people don't want to br disturbed in their own homes and told their personal faith is wrong.
You have it wrong. Nobody hates them as people, they just don't like being told what they should or shouldn't believe in.
Russia though... I cannot speak for Russians!
I do not hate them. I just wish they would stay off my property.
Cuz they keep knocking on my damn door at the crack of dawn
It's just one of the many ways in which the Christian religion just keeps getting worse and worse. It's hard to take any of you seriously when you have over 44,000+ OFFICIAL DENOMINATIONS. Shouldn't that be your biggest clue that the whole thing is a SHAM?
Oh they're not trivial. I can think of a ton of things that your average Christians (even in the same denomination) will disagree about. Such as whether you can have guns for self-defense. Jesus was pretty damn clear that you cannot have guns to shoot your enemy. He said to turn the other cheek, love your enemy, no more eye for eye or tooth for tooth (slap for slap, life for life, etc..), pray for your enemy, be harmless as doves, etc.. etc.. yet there are millions of Christians who say the opposite. This is one of many examples I could give. Put 100 christians in the same damn room and you'll have WORLD WAR 3 by the end of the day with them all arguing over 'trivial' points of SCRIPTure.
@VikingWarLord The putting 100 Christians in the same room and World War 3 erupting part is hilarious. I laughed at that.
Idc about them unless they try to shove their religion down my throat like they often do
I don't like their governing body. But the people itself are often lovely people.
Because they're liers and frauds, for starters. They sell an invisible reward that you may or not get when you die and ask for all you possessions now. Frauds!
I don't hate anybody for following a religion of their choice, but don't try to push it on me.
Cult contradictory AF. Who accepts modern medicine and procedures but refuses blood transfusions?
Because the JW reality is harsh. They are as bad as scientology.
People hate them because they are the most ignorant, intolerant, hypocritical bunch of scumbgs in the world.
Hitler and the Nazis were correct in trying to eliminate them off the face of the earth in WW2
They disturb my breakfast on Sunday morning.
Good people won't do that.
I don't hate them. I just dislike how many of them push their religion on me.
Knock, knock?
That's why.
After that, you don't want to hear the message.
Aren't they those motherfuckers who knock on your door and want to talk to you about religion? Fuck those guys.
I used to attend a Kingdom Hall. Jehovah's Witnesses is a false teaching mostly nonsense.
Most religions (and atheists too) preach nonsense, but we don't persecute them because of that. I look at it this way: if someone wants to believe something that clearly isn't true, that's their issue, their problem, and either they will eventually "see the light", or they won't, but I won't take it personally.
I don't persecute Jehovah's Witnesses, I just know they don't teach 100% Biblical sound doctrine.
Mostly cause they ring on your door early in the morning in freaking Sunday.
I always liked their art books magazine paper or whatever it is
They take advantage of the gullible and easily manipulated.
They're annoying little cultists, that's all.
false teachings
CHRIST IS TELLING THE TRUTH
that book is a distorted bible
probably the fucked up morals
What is NOT to HATE?
