Most of the Muslims I know are 'modern British' Muslim and are almost all stand-up guys / girls who I'd consider reliable and trustworthy. They're not saddled with the accumulated weight of religious orthodoxy and tradition, but they still have a spiritual connection to their religion as individuals. That said, I find I have more issues with the Islamic mentality in the Muslim communities who follow the strictest rules without thought or hesitation. Sharia Law courts are held informally in parts of the UK, young Muslim women are still subjected to FGM, etc. Like most religions, Islam has a dark and ugly side to it, but also like most religions, individuals who engage proactively with the more spiritual elements tend to be kinder and more generous than people who are strictly opposed to religion altogether.

So is MGM too, so many people mutilate baby boys genitals shortly after birth claiming it’s more hygienic. Circumcision should be an informed choice made once an adult, and I can guarantee that the number of adults opting to have it done would be dramatically fewer than baby’s who have it done without consent

Muslims and Jews/Christians are brothers/cousin as a race of People born of the same, first Father Abraham (Jews). Muslim/Christians are born of the same Dad (Issac) but two different Moms. Concubine Momma birthed Easu (Arab world) and Sarai birth Jacob (Jewish/Christian World). Both were blessed as Easu received worldly blessings (oil-wealth, Land, generations-lineage).

You do know that Quran refers to Trinity referencing the Spirit of God, Jesus as Messiah, and God-right❓

He believes in the Tawhid of the Qur'an, that is, Allah is one and has no partners. The belief in the Trinity is polytheism and the greatest sin for us. Because in many verses of the Qur'an it says that Allah is one, he did not give birth and was not straightened. By the way, the Prophet Jesus is mentioned 25 times in the Qur'an, and the Prophet Muhammad is mentioned 4 times as a name. The Prophet whose name is mentioned the most is Moses, exactly 136 times.

I think they're fucked for believing in a pedophile for a prophet. There's absolutely NOTHING in the Quran that Christ himself didn't say better. I can see why you wouldn't want to follow the "church", especially the Catholic Church, but the WORDS of Christ are all you need.
