Why do Adam and Eve have a bellybutton, if they're the first humans to be created?

I just searched for pics of Adam and Eve online, and noticed that, in every pic I came across, they have a bellybutton. My friend noticed that tiny detail, snd asked me. I didn't know what to tell him.

Artistic licence means a lot can be added or subtracted from something historical to fill in a gap of knowledge or to entertain.

Adam and Eve were not homosapien like us today. In fact, what they were is something lost to time.

Artists usually have a model pose for them. Those models all have bellybuttons so the resulting works of art have bellybuttons.

Personally, if I am to surmise from that passage, God is both male and female, even though they are usually labeled as a he, not as a they or whatever.

Back in those days these were the valves to pump up a person to full size.
Only later - when humans learned to auto-inflate, the bellybutton was converted into a fetus feeder.
Thus, Adam and Eve were engineered just right :)
