Why do you think God told me in a dream not to return to my old job and write books instead?

It’s been two years and I still do not have a book published. My parents think I’m jobless cause I spend so little time writing my book.

If God told you to write a book then He would have provided for you everything you needed to do so including the topic He wanted you to write about. If this was not given then maybe it wasn't from God? Even Satan can appear as an angel of light.

I don't think god told you anything, I think you're using a dream as an excuse to do something you already wanted to. I could say that god came to me in a dream and told me to kill someone... but it doesn't work that way.
