Why do so many brag about sinning on this site and claim to be Christians?

I am not speaking of people who are just not perfect like myself. But people promote degeneracy. They are proud of their sins.

Well I hope I haven’t come across that way haha. I don’t believe you should go out of your way to be a shit person and do immoral things, but if you mess up - don’t stress. I don’t really believe in the bible per say either, or a lot of the sins in it. I have a few reasons for that but I won’t get into detail.

But yeah, a lot of people are like that. I guess everyone else has their own beliefs and opinions, and we can’t just say someone isn’t Christian. But the way people act sometimes can be downright immoral, Christian or not.

I don’t think people should over sexualise themselves, I see that a lot. The world nowadays is way too over sexualised. There’s porn, only fans, social media, movies, etc and they all promote some form of sex. I hate that. It ruins relationships.

People just really lack dignity now. They lack self respect and they lack dignity. That’s just the direction culture has gone and it’s sad.

People want to bag on the way women in the 50s were treated, but I’ve watched street interviews back then on those sort of topics. Those men seemed nothing but doting and loyal towards their wives.

You're right and relationships are all about sex. There is no building a bond. I have a number of people who have blocked me and some who I assume either I will block or will block me in the near future who are frequent fliers. I won't mention names on here.

You're right I do believe in forgiveness if you pray and repent and stop doing it. The problem is people who keep doing it over and over again. Everyone messes up. Watches porn. Sleeps around outside marriage. Has a abortion. Does something evil to someone for one reason or another. Steals something. Tells a lie (even a white one), and... The list goes on.

God knows I am not perfect but I am not proud of what I have done either. I felt shitty and still do at times over many things.

But I try and have dignity and self respect and respect for others. Once I do that I feel better and move on with my life

Many others are hypocrites. They judge everyone else to take the foucs off themselves when they are doing the same things they condemn everyone else for.

Like if someone is yelling at people for porn or sleeping around or being a pervert. But... They not only did all those things are currently doing them. That is only one example

The world took a really wrong turn and it’s lost. Morals and dignity have just been tossed out the window and discarded.

I honestly think the 50s and 60s had a good thing for them. They had very little technology and I think that was good for them.

Somethings happened and it’s not right. The world so sexualised, indecent and lacking morals. It’s ruining people mental health, relationships and mindsets; how they treat people, how they act and how they treat themselves.

And yes, relationships have turned that way. Boys back in the day were raised well and respectful towards girls. Both my ex boyfriends, in this time, have consistently harassed me for sex.

Guys don’t ask you out on dates anymore. They ask for your snap/number. What happened to old fashioned stuff like that? I think it’s important.

The 50s and 60s had their problems. The whole respect thing really goes both ways. Lots of men have no respect for women but a lot of women also have no respect for men either. Everything as you said is all about sex.

I just want to go a single day where nothing is about sex or some sexual reference. Even the most innocent of stuff has been turned sexual

That is why you have to search God yourself. Many times. I have found many of the sins in the Bible make me feel sick and like I done something wrong.

There are many things like in Leviticus that like growing the same crops in a field, wearing blended fabrics, or eating certian foods I have no problem with and I think Christians that make a big deal over that stuff when Jesus even said what you put in your mouth don't defile you.

The main reason is that a lot of them are caught up in the spirit of the age. They think that the moral teachings of faith are subject to the whims and demands of the times in which they live.

Others are given to theological errors that claim that they personally are incapable of sinning. That and the fact that there are not a few who see their Christian faith as self-help or self-affirmation.

It depends on what you are calling degeneracy. Usually people who use terms like that use them pretty broadly. People don't all have the same idea of what Christians should or shouldn't do.

Which sins? There’s a lot of disagreement on what exactly is a sin. Masturbation? Premarital sex? Gay sex? Assisted suicide? Some say yes, some say no.
