There were a dualist sect back in the day and the conspiracies assert they are the "illuminati". They have (discovered?) secrets from back in the day that they protect to this day.

Anyway, it's largely unknown who they are, as they are not represented in any official capacity.

It’s a very interesting and alluring concept! Because we know that we have many faults within ourselves and that the supreme God is supposed to be flawless. It is easy to believe that we are not the creation of the supreme God but by an interloper and thus able to lay blame on him for our faults instead of ourselves

True. Do you know of an ultimate difference between the demiurge and yaldabaoth? I keep seeing both but interchangeable. I wasn't sure if that was like how YVWH has different names, like El or Yeshua.

@Agape93 if by YVWH, you mean the Tetragrammaton, YHWH, it’s the sacred name of G-d. El/Elohim/Eloah mean G-d, just like Di-s mean it in Spanish. Not a name, but a title. Yeshua (YHWH is salvation) is a name that refers to several Biblical characters, including Jesus Christ.

Not sure, like I said I'm still learning. Gnosticism is the belief of the gnostic, who are people who to my understanding have knowledge of the divine or the divine within themselves
