Honoring your mother and father, not murdering, not cheating on your wife, not stealing. These are pretty important moral principles. Then the 10th commandment, is just like
"Don't be jelly."

You're confused.
There were actually 14 commandments. But a combination of Hollywood and simplistic thinking merged them to a "round" number,
Each commandment correctly identified either a spiritual, physical, social, or intellectual problem the Israelites had.
I think it’s OK to be jealous only in the mind, but not to act impulsively. We ought to try not to feel jealousy, but then didn’t the Bible say something about our Lord being a jealous god?
Careful here. Context is very important, and it seems you’ve missed the bigger context of God being jealous. I don’t have time to go into it now, I’ll leave that to you and your own “research” if you really want to understand. Most people probably don’t want to, since ignorance is bliss (temporarily). Cheers.
Jealousy is toxic and bad for your mental health, so no.
So many things are called toxic so picking jealousy is dis-honest. Also the asker translated wrong. tenth is not about jealous.

The tenth was to make distance to avoid steal and adultery by not even wanting it. If the 'Jones' family has a hummer you should not want to buy your own hummer because if you 'can't keep up with the Jones's you might try to steal'. Jealous is a bad translation because 'worship another god' caused jealous. But wanting the great thing he has, that is different.
What if the wife I am coveting lives in another city. That's not neighbor.
That would be allowed because far so no risk of sinning with her.
