If so, how much do you fear of your God or Gods?

Not really.

My God is a pretty hands-off entity. She's a cosmic trickster content to just watch what happens and maybe tip a card or two just to make things more interesting for her to observe.

I don't fear her. She's kind of a neutral entity.

Sometimes she's intimidating, and the world seems harsh and unforgiving. But that's also just a new test to overcome, with lessons and an end. And sometimes the world seems great and lovely, and it's a breath of fresh air before the next storm.

There's no use fearing the inevitable.

No. I believe that the God/Gods know what they are doing. They have the big picture. I just trust them that all will be well in the end. Every action has a purpose in the grander scheme of things.

Think about the term "god-fearing". It boggles me that people are still god-fearing to this day. It was clearly a means of making people fearful of defying whatever was written in the bible or scriptures in the past.

"If you do this, you spend an eternity in hell. If you do this, you'll go to heaven."

Like come on... if people just used their brains a little, they'd realize it. People in the past were easily manipulated due to their lack of information. There was no science back then to explain the majority of phenomena like there is nowadays. If someone made a fire glow green, people thought it was witchcraft back then. If someone made a sheet fly in the air using a string, people thought it was genuine ghost.

I'm amazed that religion has still been passed down to families even today, with all of the information we have that contradicts it.

Crazy that we know that there were many civilizations over the millennia like the ancient Greeks, Norse, or Egyptians that believed in many different gods (Zeus, Odin, Ra, etc.), and now they're primarily used as entertainment. It's like people refuse to see the evidence of it. And then there are people that genuinely think that because a person does not believe in God, they'll be judged negatively by the God.

Being god-fearing is illogical in my opinion.
