It’s really unknowable. Belief in life after death is purely faith-based. I can tell you for sure what happens to mortal remains after death, and it isn’t pretty.

I believe that there is a better side for sure but the question is: "does a person deserves to go there?" I don't believe that bad people will be granted this opportunity especially if they haven't repent before death...
