Do you think it’s possible to maintain a marriage with someone who has different religious views as you?

I think the question is being asked wrong. It's always possible for two people from different cultures to be married and be happy. The question would have been better asked what are some of the pitfalls of such a relationship? The answer is that it depends on how much the religious partner follows 2 Corinthians 6:14. If they do most likely there will not be a marriage to start with. The female that I spend most of my time with these days is a VERY devout Catholic. I am NOT. I respect her views and she respects mine.

Sure, it’s possible. But you’re making life difficult from the very beginning. Is one of you planning on convincing the other to convert? If it’s something you believed in strongly and then you waiver…did you ever REALLY believe it? Do you worship your God/god now or your spouse? How will you raise your kids? What church will you attend?

I think it’s better to be of like mind. Of course you can still love each other and stay together but one of you is going to have to compromise their beliefs at some point.

Of course as long as there’s mutual understanding and respect of each others religion.
I’m Buddhist, my boyfriend considers himself Muslim and his parents are Muslim and Christian. With that, religion never really comes up and when we’re curious about one’s religion we educate each other on it.

What a lot people don't understand is religious influence is huge on a person's development. So while you believe saving up for marriage is the right thing, your partner might feel differently. You're both right in your own place, but it's hard because of religious differences.

It happens. I've seen Jews marry Christians, Christians marry Buddhists, etc. I've never seen any statistics about divorce rates due to marriage, but if you're going to split up I'm sure you will fight over the silverware before you fight over religion.

Depends on the religious beliefs. Christian and atheist no. Christian and Muslim hard but possible. Hindu and Buddhist sure. Christian’s agnostics and any religious believes for agnostics yes because the agnostics has no idea and will raise there children kinda religiously or at least let there spouse teach there children religious beliefs

The answer to this question totally depends on the people that you surround yourselves with, and how independent you are. If either his friends or your friends are extremist and divsive in their views, and if the respective partner is susceptible to peer pressure, then they can be turned against you and it would quickly erode the relationship.

But if everyone's chill and open-minded then there will be no issue.

How do you marry? You marry into a faith in front of g-d. Is the marriage valid if you don't accept him. The principal belief must exist. I couldn't marry an atheist as they don't believe anything.

As a Christian myself, I don’t see it would be working with an unbeliever guy. Not even a Catholic. I am a protestant and my fiance is also one. I won’t judge other Christians who go for interfaith marriage, but it is just not for me.
