What do you think of people who say that God tests you or tempts you before He blesses you?

I feel like I've been tested this week. It wasn't as hard as the other things, compared to other issues I had, this was the least difficult.

I think most people think of God and his son Jesus Christ as weak and always loving and forgiving creatures. Most people will be very surprised when most of them WILL end up being in hell. If God himself said to follow Shabbat which is Saturday and yet 97% of people go to church on Sunday and celebrating demonic Halloween (the day of death, murder and rape) Christmas that has absolutely nothing to do with Christ's birthday and Thanksgiving which is a solid pagan holiday in itself and most white people hating on black people (even though there is no such thing as a black a. k. a African American people) they are Hebrew Israelites, but hey what the hell do I know, it is not like I am a person who has been doing his hardcore heavy research for the past 12 years.

He doesn't tempt you. He does test you then blesses you.

I would totally agree. Honestly just from my personal relationship with God I can’t say that I have always gotten what I wanted or even needed easily. And it’s supposed to be that way, I feel like I get closer to God and you seek God when you need him and he knows that and that is why he puts us through things.


It’s like a test he has for us personally and individually bc he knows.


I don't know that’s just how I choose to see it bc if not I would go crazy lol 😂

I do think that has some merrit, but its also dangerous to dwell on. There are a few moments in my life where I can relate to this, but that can also be attributed to the flow of life. If it comforts you knowing that there might come something good from it if you passed the test go for that belief as long as you won't get hurt if it doesn't come true. But don't assume god will magically give you what you have been wanting for so long just because you passed a test. Because chances are the real thing you need to overcome is still there to overcome.

I don’t personally believe in God, but I think the mindset you describe can be really powerful and helpful for people who do. Obviously you have to be careful not to slide into apathy - being unwilling to challenge your circumstances because you see them as God’s will - but I believe that this attitude can be a profound source of inner strength and resilience.

God doesn't tempt us; because sin is to turn away from Him. But He will reward you for resisting the Devil.
