I believe there's a chance this could be a stimulation from weird coincidences in my life and just how life itself is weird.
This idea is known as metaphysical solipsism.
"Soft" solipsism holds that only your own mind can be 100% known to exist. It's similar to Rene Descartes's famous idea, "I think, therefore I am," but I'm 99% sure someone with an actual education in philosophy will correct me there.
Metaphysical solipsism, from what I understand, takes the more hardline stance that only your mind does exist. The problem is, the existence or non-existence of things outside your mind is unprovable, which is the whole reason people subscribe to solipsism in the first place, so declaring that nothing else exists is at least as silly as declaring that it does.
My advice: treat everything as if it were real. You can do a lot of harm if you think everybody around you is fake, but it does you no harm to assume that they are real.
(Side note: the Matrix/brain-in-a-vat idea does not necessarily mean that other people are fake. They could be in the same simulation you are.)

No. It means there is the possibility they might be.
But the answer is always to slap them across the face and say they have an active imagination. If they hit you back, then they are not a solipsist...
