How do you cope knowing there are fake people out there?

I don't think I ever really saw how fake people can be as when I was at a previous job.

Coworkers and managers were so two faced and fake like it was second nature and it was nothing to them. Fake to one another, fake to customers... You would think it was Wall Street and they were trying to re create American Psycho with how fake everyone was... Meanwhile its a store. Its not like tons of money was on the line... especially not for my coworkers. We made slightly above minimum wage. And yet they were acting like that for no apparent reason. Its like there are people out there who are truly ugly inside.

Don’t really talk to people. And if I do meet new people it takes a lot for me to open up to them

I have made progress but if i like someone. Or if they keep pushing and they act nice at the same time then i can't stop x. x i just hopw its worth it
