I don’t know of any prophets who had professions outside of being prophets, but there are some Biblical heroes whose original occupations were unsavory:
Rahab - prostitute Joshua 2
Saul/Paul - Pharisee/Christian killer
The Apostle Matthew - tax collector
The repentant thief - Luke 23:39-43
The woman who washed Jesus’s feet - prostitute Luke 7:36-50
Thank you that is pretty much what I've been trying to learn.
