Okay here's the thing , as a believer I really struggle with secular music - by struggling with I'm saying that I'll be tempted by it & I would like advice in this area the scripture 📖 says the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. So would you have any advice to help me with this

You're overthinking this. Yes, on the one hand everything you consume should be edifying. Fine. In that case, make the choice to do that. I'm not buying your statement that secular music is so tempting. I mean, yes, it's good, but you choose what to watch on YouTube. Or put on your music playlist. Or the radio station in the car. So, make the choice to only listen to Christian music.

But, here's the thing. I'm not going to tell you to sin but I'm also not sure you can completely choose to get the world out of your life. Otherwise you'd be a monk. So, is secular music that bad? Like, if you're miserable all the time, is that good? Like, this isn't rampant sex with ten women a day or murdering people or burning Bibles. If you listen to music because you like the tunes and the artist's singing, I'm not sure you're damned from that.

If certain genres of music are sinful to you, then go ahead and treat them as sinful. For me, I tend to avoid music with cursing, anything that degrades or sexualizes, and anything that promotes whatever is contrary to Scripture. But there’s no need to worry about whether you’re allowed to listen to secular music or not, that’s legalism.

Why music? How about the written word? How about media, like TV, radio, social media apps?

I fear you can isolate yourself only so much. You are surrounded by things secular. Just go with them.
