Why did God create people with disorders and disabilities?

Because without replication errors, we'd still be eukaryotes. Progress requires experiments that don't work out.

And not every disorder is entirely negative- we'd be nowhere near where we are without the work of early autists. The guy who memorized the position of all the stars every night of the year made precision calendars possible, which opened up a LOT of other doors, and he sure as hell wasn't allistic. I'm sure there are scores of other examples, too.

Many people who believe in God think that God allows mankind to harm others because he lets mankind have freedom of choice. But then that would not explain why he allows people to be born with disorders and disabilities. So that is why many believe it proves there actually is no God.

Sometimes I think it’s to humble mankind. To remind us to rely on Him rather than ourselves. And nobody is truly perfect; we are all disabled in some way. The need for eyeglasses indicates impaired or “handicapped” vision. Dental braces are a sign of imperfect teeth. Diabetes, arthritis, rosacea, a “trick” knee—these can all be considered disabilities to some extent. The whole human race lives with the reality of imperfection. Everyone experiences less-than-ideal conditions. We are all broken in some way. The handicaps we live with are simply a matter of degree.

To prove that people are not mere animals, and can care about something other than themselves.

Whereas mere animals abandon and kill their flock that have disabilities or disorders.
