They aren't undatable. It takes the right person and depends on the disability. Even then it takes the right person that can deal with it. Someone who is understanding and patient. Again it really depends on the disability they have and the circumstances of both people. I can say one thing with certainty and that is these people are not broken. No one is at fault for something out of their control especially when they seek help to control whatever disability they have. People that view them as broken are just wrong.

People don't think that people with disabilities are broken and undateable. It's just that such a relationship will require a lot of extra hard work, and it's easier to find someone without a disability.

If that were true, most adults would be single.
Most of the scientific community views the majority of the population as mentally disabled, and physical disabilities are quite common, yet most people get married and have children in their teens, 20s or 30s.

There are many cases though, where for example a given disability becomes a compatibility barrier, because intelligence level, metabolism speed, hobbies, and overall fitness can all play a roll in lifestyle preferences, which then dictates the type of partner you would like.

What you are actually witnessing is just sexual selection.

Example: For a wife, I want a skilled gamer to discuss science with and make art and music with.
This rules out people with:
epilepsy
mental disabilities
poor motor skills
slow metabolisms
arm or hand deformities or amputations
blindness
blurry vision
color blindness
deafness
tone deafness
etc.
As those would prevent doing the desired activities with them.

I don’t think that at all. Dating is hard and has more failures than successes for even the most desirable people. I would say this: I think a higher value person just accepts the odds of life and that success in everything is not likely. They are faster at moving on and recovering from a disappointment.
A person with a disability (or insecurity, self-identified flaw, or so on) immediately associate any failure as being because of their condition and accept it as proof of it being a problem. The truth is, it probably isn’t one at all and they just get in their own head that it is.

maybe some people think that. why? you can’t control what you’re attracted to, and sometimes things that are very different from you are unattractive. it’s possible maybe that it has to do with our primitive attraction to fertility. many people, including me, are broken on the inside.

not everyone thinks that. Many physically compromised people do not think that they are broken and they overcome their challenges and lead fulfilling lives. I grew up with somebody who had many physical challenges. He learned how to ski and was a avid cyclist. He ran a successful business and had multiple girlfriends. Ho told me once that he wished he could have played sports like other kids did but he did not let his problems stop him from living.

people have the biological drive to procreate with the partner most fit to procreate with, maximizing the chance of successfull upbringing. it's not hate for disable that makes people not go for these people.

People shouldn't be judgmental with disabled people because they can still date and love like any normal person can do so.

Being picky and being judgmental are 2 different things.

If a person's disability is light sensative seizures or poor motor function, and I want a woman I can play video games with, then refusing a woman who has said problems isn't judgmental.

People are allowed to have dating preferences, to seek out a partner they are compatible with.

Secondly, the way people in general date and love is varied, there is no "normal".
