And just remember. Satan can pose as an angel of light and can speak to you too, but in your mind, not audibly. If anyone would speak in an audible voice to you it would be him, not God. And I assume we are talking "audibly". God does speak to us - at least the Holy Spirit does (the Holy Spirit is also God, the 3rd member of the triune Father , Son, and Holy Spirit) but not in an audible voice, but an inner voice that His children can hear in their minds.

The Biblical Authors said God sends prophets who hear from God according to Deuteronomy 13 and other tests. The test of a True Prophet is not whether YOU feel good about his message. The test of a True prophet is not whether YOU believe the prophet either.

The Test of a True Prophet is this.

1) Does the Prophet speak in the name of The True Creator who is Yahweh?

2) Does his prophecy come to pass?

If both of those are "Yes" then you are to repent at the prophet's teaching and obey the Prophet as long as his teaching agrees with Moses and as long as his teaching and prophecies alwasy come to pass.

IF his prophecy doe snot come to pass, or he preaches a god other than Yahweh, you are not to obey him and you are supposed to stone him to death.
