There are many times that you say you've had enough, but when do you KNOW that it's time to stop trying in everything you do, and how do you know that you've tried EVERYTHING, to make it work? 🤔

Enough is enough when you're the only one putting forth effort. When your partner makes selfish, unilateral decisions, without considering how they might impact you, you're no longer in a relationship. The same holds true if they consistently say or do things without considering how they might impact you. When both people don't prioritize the other feeling safe, secure and special, then it's time to part. Understand this is also true if you're the one who focuses primarily on your own selfish sense of entitlement. Without a special connection, constantly being nurtured over time, there is no relationship to hold onto. You haven't lost anything but your fantasy, as there was nothing there to lose.
When you get to the point that you stop crying over everything in regards to that person.

This is such a specific or individual based thing it is difficult to speak about. I have been there and I know it when I know it. It suddenly is a wake-up one day realization. I wish there was a formula for it so that it would be a forecast and preparations can be made in advance...
Here is something that I wrote about 7-8 years ago.
I jhad a long distance relationship for over 3 years. She lived 1500 miles away and there was not e mail of video chat and long distance phone calls were veery expensive. She put very little effort into the relationship. I was in the hospital for a month and she could't even send me a goddam get well card. I flew out to see her and she shows up at the airport wearing a dark blue hoodie covered in plaster dust and she had her hiri in some weird pern combed over to one side. She told me she was so busy she almost forgot the pick me up at the airport. Just like that I saw her as she really was. A few months later I broke up with her over the phone.
Deciding when enough is enough is hard to do, because it's the fork in the road that leads in two very different directions, typically changing things forever.
I faced that decision after Uni. I could have moved to a major city and get a great job. Or I could have moved to Japan on one week's notice for a year. I chose to move to Japan for 3 years. When I did return, I moved to that same major city, 4 years later, and became destitute. After a year, I began a long and arduous recovery from PTSD and a bad marriage.
Would Life have been different if I had taken the other fork? ABSOLUTELY!
In hindsight, knowing what would happen, would I STILL have nade made the SAME decision? ABSOLUTELY!
Because sometimes you just KNOW in your bones, when it's the right thing to do!
I don’t know really for me it was all of a sudden on the 17th of may 2022, I was playing PokèmonGo and she started her toxic behaviour again and I just flipped I had just had enough and that was it.
It took a long time but I got there in the end. And I must admit that getting rid of that toxic mess was the best thing I ever did.
When all i see in the future is nothing changing. Nothing is changing between us, and i'm now losing time I could have been doing something better.
When it's no longer worth the effort, when the love or attraction is gone or they push too much
When you don't care if you ever see the other person again.
When the effort is not worth the potential reward.
Only you know that I say ….
You can only try but if it’s one way it’s time….
Hope that helps
When you’re thinking of wanting other people more than your partner.
You’re a child still. What you think is love in most cases isn’t. Conflict doesn’t happen in solid relationships. At least not the horrid kind that someone does to be deceptive. Move on. Life is to shot. Who cares
I'd be careful if I were you... You're crossing a VERY thin line... You have no idea what I know.. What a stupid thing to say... And seeing as I'm almost double your age, you have no right to tell me what I do, and do not know.
I have been through more in my life, than you could possibly imagine and have known love that you would probably never understand.
Don't test me little girl, because you will not win!!
But, if you want to try? Go ahead, it will be fun for me... 😊
when they start getting too controlling and not giving me any space
Depends on the reason. What's is the subject about? Enough of what?
I stopped trying with the breakup comes. Until then I will give it my all.
When you can't smile anymore.
It never is
