Isn't enough, enough? Time to stop the ownership and misuse of firearms?

Another school shooting Thursday then today another one at an assisted living facility.

It's become such a common occurrence its not even making the headlines any more.

I appreciate the ultra right wing conservative love their guns. It's been stated far too often, "Taking the guns out of the law-abiding citizen will only allow the criminals to be armed!"

This isn't working. No one is pulling out their own firearm to stop these shooters. It's only allowing easy access to those whom want to "go rogue."

Isn't it time to stop the insanity? Make tough laws to control the ownership of firearms and then be even tougher on enforcing such laws!!

People have a right to own things, among those things are guns. Fucking everyone from commies to ancaps understands, as many fascists have outlined, that regulating guns is one of the first things a tyrannical government does. Guns are already one of the most regulated goods in the world, even in the US alone. People also have a right to protect themselves, even if it may result in the attacker being fatally wounded.

If the death of innocent, be they children or not was enough to sway American voters then your country would look very different from how it is today. Republicans will keep the trainwreck going until someone stops them and no failure or disaster will be enough to convince them otherwise.

You're correct in that no logic, no proof in the world will get the die-hard right-wingers to change their opinion. However, to be fair, die-hard liberals are somewhat the same.

I try to be as independent as they come. I lean conservative on many things and liberal on others.

On this, though, there can be no argument. Where we are is not working. Our justice system needs to change to strongly enforce the laws of the land. Take the guns away.

And what is your plan to do away with all the illegal guns out there? Do you know how easy it is to get a gun, no records or questions asked? Do you think someone intent on committing murder cares if their gun is illegal? Do you think someone who wants to kill suddenly won't if they don't have a gun?

Schools along with public and private facilities have "no guns" rules in place. It's the good guys that abide and don't bring their gun.

Obama’s Dear Colleague letter bill played an important part of the Parkland shooting. I wish more people did their research on this. They would see that Cruz got expelled from Parkland, but somehow was able to come back. He said on multiple occasions he would kill students. The fbi was notified about him over 40 times, yet because of Obama’s dangerous bill, nothing was done. Broward County was one of a very limited number of districts that enacted that policy. But if all you do is listen to mainstream media, you wouldn’t even know about this.


This is what happens when liberals get into power. Chaos as at the forefront of their agenda.
For example, it’s shown black kids get in trouble more than whites in a classroom setting. So you know what Democrats do to solve the problem? They make high schools not penalize them anymore for their behavior. That’s their solution. It only makes things worse. You remember how many school shootings happened under OBama? It got to be so much that hearing about one didn’t faze me anymore.

No, our society is unraveling and I think the next two or three years there will be a lot more violence. People need to be able to protect themselves. The police will not get there in time and even if they do they are helpless to do anything or they may get fired or worse put in jail.
I plan on buying a shotgun and a handgun and I know somebody that runs a firearms training facility and he will teach me how to shoot.
I am pissed that I have to do this but I am really concerned that there will be so much violence that it will look like a civil war.

You can ban guns and you can ban Ammo , but guns will still be used in these crimes. Don't compare US to any other country either. We are in a different world compared to the others. We have the most wealth and freedom of any country. When a tyrant needs his ass kicked , who goes in? The US goes in. Not Canada , Not England. Not China. Not Australia.
