I find people who obsess over being “tactical” tend to have the best and most expensive toys but little if any experience or understanding of how to use them. As an example, I’ve seen a guy with a 1500$ Sig Sauer P320 Legion who can’t get a two inch shot placement group at 7 yards away to save his life, which I can do with a 400$ single action revolver in a higher caliber. Gucci Glock tactless-tools are another lowlight of range time. They turn a 500$ gun into a 1000$ gun but don’t go to any training classes which would have been a much better use of their funds, and then make all kinds of safety mistakes and don’t often know how to fully utilize their equipment. Glocks don’t have safeties, because they are meant for police and military who have lots of training and practice with a weapon that doesn’t have a safety. The 3,000$ AR guys are the absolute worst though. Their rifle has lasers spotlights multiple bipods, the most expensive and heavy duty internal parts their quick google searches could find, probably it’s own data connection, etc. I just don’t engage with them because there is no convincing an impotent overweight middle aged man whose wife is getting some plumbing work done while he is at the range that yes, stalling in middle management towards the end of your 40’s does give you some money to spend on guns, but no, it doesn’t make you an operator just because you have the same gun and accessories they do.

If I know they have legitimate experience, then I'd shut up and learn, but the truth is that most people who would say such things are full of shit.
I used to work with a retired SEAL, who was recalled to duty 2 weeks before 9/11, and am friends with a couple of Marines, one of whom was badly injured after half a year of fighting in Fallujah, and the other did 4 tours between Iraq and Afghanistan. I can't imagine any of them telling someone that they aren't tactical enough - they would instead ask where they served and where they trained. The answers to those questions would tell them everything they needed to know.
I have years of civilian training, but that's not real combat, so I would start by shutting up and listening - but I'd be skeptical, because a lot of people talk a lot of crap about things they know nothing about.
Nah... probably think of such person as a rat who doesn't know who the hell they talkin' to but okay... boomer
Um yeah like wtf why are you telling me stfu? And i have anger issues so I’d probably choose violence.

I guess it depends. If I were in an unfamiliar, hood and someone showing me around said that then I would listen.
If it was in a place I'm familiar with and I feel like I know what's going on around me, I'd probably be annoyed but who knows, maybe they know something I don't.
I like to be alive so when people talk like that I try to put my ego to the side a bit.
I'd be insulted and i'd be right to feel so.
Some people think because they have the last word in an argument, it makes them right. It doesn't necessarily. It just makes them good at arguing. At best it gets them compliance from others rather than commitment. It's bad management.
Ell oh ell! No. I’m not a snowflake. Other people’s opinions of me mean very little to nothing. People who know me can tenderize my ego, but anyone who knows me wouldn’t say such a thing to my face.
Yeap. I don't care how you assess my ability to defend myself, but you don't have the ability to control my speech.
Nope because they don’t know me. So what do they know?
Id probably just chuckle and let them go on thinking I’m helpless.
At that point my inner Latina and Filipina part would come out...
No, let them underestimate him. It'll ruin them in the long run.
A stranger quickly approaches and states, “Swine ! You aren’t tactical enough !”
Pretty weird thing to say. Besides, the wise cat hides his claws. 😸
At that point is best just to walk away, cause Mr. stupid has come to play!

I can defend the title mentally and physically
I'd laugh. I mean if they were saying and serious about it. How could you react any other way.
I would break their wrist and we'll see whose not tactical
I would if they were loud, and in front of people that they aren't also saying it to. Otherwise, they're right.

No, lol, but I'd laugh.
I’d tell that person to fuck off.
No, but you'd be coughing up cane pieces.
It’s never a bad thing to be underestimated
