Do you believe God repeats the opportunity if it’s part of His plan for your life?

My lab partner in first year university talked briefly with me but we didn’t cross paths and later I saw her again at a bible study with a guy. My path with that guy crossed a few more times but we both rebelled in our own ways and our destiny was cut off. Then there was somebody I crossed paths with over 6 times, every time I lost her number, our paths would cross and we would reconnect, now it’s making sense cause I see how having her as a friend would benefit me. And there is a guy I met on another site around 13 years ago, that redound me on this site last year.

I don't know what your conception of God is or is not but you mentioned the Bible so I'm assuming you are Christian.

The Christian conception of God is that he a loving paternal figure who wants us to be happy. If that is the case, then I suspect that he would give us multiple opportunities to get things right.

That being said, don't wait on God to make good things happen for you. You need to do the best you can with what you have in an given moment.

I asked a guy years ago if he thought God gave you people to marry and he said God gives you chances and you decide what to do with them. Like if God wants you to do something, he will give you chances to do it, but you will have to make the choice to use the resources he gives you.

That sounds about right.

Live your life, do your best, be open to opportunities and have a little bit of courage. Moments that change a person's life, whether brought to them by God or sheer, random chance, can come out of left field and any time.

There is one part of the bible that says you should always have your guard up by investing in more than one thing when planning your future because only God knows which plans will bear fruit and which opportunities will close or fail. It uses different words, but that's what I get out of it.

yes, when we fail, he will arrange other opportunities to try again and similarly opportunities with people

Me and my now girlfriend took a break and she called me up saying she missed me and wanted to get back together she was doing really well for herself and still wanted me back I believe it was God giving me a second chance because I regretted pushing her away and I’m struggling with not doing it again I really don’t want to hurt her but I’ve never had anyone in my life who actually cares about me before 😅 and I’m trying to just accept her affection

No, there is nothing supernatural about the coincidences you are describing.

A bible study group or similar church-related activities are good opportunity to meet a partner with similar values, and that is already a good thing. I always think that religious people may not find "God" in their pursuits, but they may well find each other in the process.

I don't understand why people believe that our lives have some kind of "plan" or purpose. They don't. We're born, we live, and then we die - that's it, that's the "plan".
