Well I don't know if you've noticed but lots of people talk out of their ass, even religious people, they can claim what they want but if they don't follow and spread the word correctly, they aren't really following what they believe so it makes them false

You're not the brightest. You've read their remark, and didn't understand the sentiment behind it. But rather than question yourself, you've chosen to deflect instead.

You seem the sort of dumbass who would get a speeding ticket, then tell the cop to "go chase real criminals". Only to cry online when hit with the full weight for being a prick, on top of the ticket.

The answerer was probably saying that you cannot just see God, in the same way you cannot just see gas, you need the right education and the right people. Hence why you call the fire brigade, not your local mechanic, if you detect gas. In much the same way you speak to a rabbi, alim or priest, not a bloke down the pub, when you're having life issues.

Yes, it's not a very good example by them, but you didn't ask a very good question either. So you got the same quality back.
