Why are you looking at flawed humans and not to God himself and what his commandments and laws and truths are? You are going to wait for people to not fuck up?

This is between you and God. No one else can be blamed for your actions and decisions and whether you reject God or serve him.

YOU and YOU alone. You don't get the cop out of saying "well, I was watching these other shitty humans and I don't like the way they acted so I'm except from having to be right with you or not. It's THEIR fault!"

No cop outs for you.

If you lie, that is on you. If you are selfish, that is on you. If you commit adultery, that is on you. If you steal, that is on you. If you are a fornicator that is on you. If you have the means to help someone in need and look the other way, that is on you. If your conscience tells you the truth that there is a God and you reject it, that is on you.

I wouldn't say they're immoral. It's more like superstitious. I think religion is just an outgrowth of superstition. Life can be tough it was tougher in the bronze age. When people' s lives are at risk every second they get superstitious, there's nothing else to cling to. I think that's where religion comes from.

Religious people ARE NOT ALWAYS immoral. Some minority of people who claim to be religious are. Just as some atheists are and some agnostics are. Just as some people are criminal.

There is no ALWAYS about any group that includes a broad swath of people from various ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

There are some you'll see in news reports like the late Jimmy Swaggart, caught with prostitutes while he was leading a Baton Rouge TV congregation and quoting the Bible.

And there are hundreds of thousands of ministers and priests doing good work all over the world not caught up in any shameful scandals.

it's hard work to do what is right always, in the spirit of God. I fail and I don't like it when I do. like when I see a homeless person, I want to help them. sometimes I don't.

whats immoral mean in the eyes of a unbeliever. What you see as moral and immoral varies by your own judgement and others like yourself. You have sex before marriage, you lie, you steal, you gossip, you pass judgements, you kill innocent life, you're greedy, you're selfish. You make justification for your immorality and see no wrong in your actions.
