The Bible gives the genealogy of all the people who were born from the beginning until Christ. If you figure out how long they all lived, Methuselah being the oldest at 967 years, then you can figure when the world was created - around 6,000 years. It took God 6 literal days to create the Earth. On the 7th he rested. This is where our 7 day week comes from and the 7th day being a day of rest. The Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs directly, except "The beasts of the earth". So they weren't here millions of years ago. They were alive when man was 6,000 years ago and were created on the 6th day. Genesis 1:24–31
