I will give you an answer from the Islamic point of view, hope it helps.
In Islamic belief, angels (Arabic: ملائكة, malāʾikah) are spiritual beings created by Allah (God) who exist in a realm beyond the physical world. They are made of light and are considered to be pure and obedient servants of Allah. Angels play a significant role in Islamic theology and are believed to be involved in various aspects of creation and the functioning of the universe.
In Islam, angels are considered to be completely different from humans and other creatures. They have no physical bodies and are not bound by the same limitations as humans. They do not possess free will and are incapable of disobeying Allah's commands. They carry out specific tasks assigned to them by Allah and are responsible for various functions.
Islamic teachings describe numerous angels, each with specific roles and responsibilities. Some prominent angels mentioned in Islamic literature include:Jibril (Gabriel): He is known as the angel of revelation and is responsible for delivering Allah's messages to the prophets, including the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. Mika'il (Michael): He is associated with the provision of sustenance and the distribution of blessings from Allah. Israfil: Israfil is believed to be the angel who will blow the trumpet on the Day of Judgment, signaling the end of the world and the resurrection of all beings. Izrail (Azrael): Izrail is the angel of death, who takes the souls of individuals at the time of their death. Raqib and Atid: These two angels are believed to record human actions and deeds. Raqib records the good deeds, while Atid records the bad deeds. Munkar and Nakir: These angels are responsible for questioning individuals in the grave about their faith and deeds.
Angels are regarded as unseen beings who are constantly present around humans, protecting them and fulfilling Allah's commands. Muslims believe that angels are witnesses to their actions and are aware of their deeds and thoughts. They are seen as a link between the divine realm and the earthly world, serving as intermediaries between Allah and humans.
It's important to note that Islamic beliefs about angels are derived from the Quran, Hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad), and Islamic scholars' interpretations. The exact nature and characteristics of angels can vary within different schools of Islamic thought, but the general concept of angels as spiritual beings with specific roles remains consistent.

+1 yever since i watched the video casper ghost, i imagine angels like a "misty casper spirit" that can go through walls, but can also move stuff. not made from light in any form photon nor heavenly light , just a non-physical fog. but angels were not humans that died. no angel is like a ghost.

+1 yAngels are creatures created from Light. They are not responsible like Humans and Jinn. There is no femininity or masculinity. There is no reproduction. They only take orders from Allah, they are his assigned beings.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe word “angel” comes from the Ancient Greek angelos. All the word means is “messenger.”
This means that angels come in all shapes and sizes. They don’t have to fly around in the air with great bird wings.
