About two weeks ago, I had signed on with a startup, C level position, gave up my initial pay for a stock option. Lived off of savings, credit cards and sold other stock to make it. Sat down with the CEO and said I needed to start getting paid, he said "okay" then screwed with it for months. Went to a convention to support the brand sat down with him and he made it clear that the money nor the stock was going to manifest... At the end of my savings and now had to go figure out my next step... So I quit, everything is fine now, and I'm great but that initial "WTF?" Of course it worked out, it usually does, but during the flight home I was all grrrrrr.

Everyday at work, now am off work thank god. The hope that those whom got promoted would stay humbled, the ones that are in higher office will understand the effort we are doing and HR do their job like it should.
